Lebanese authorities arrested two suspects for involvement in rocket attacks from the country’s territory into northern Israel earlier this month, The Daily Star reported on Saturday.

According to the report, the Lebanese Armed Forces stated that the suspects, Youssef Muhammad Fliti and Omar Abdel-Mawla al-Atrash, confessed to supplying the four rockets used in the attacks.

The suspects said that they transferred the rockets to a man in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.

Israel Air Force Strikes Back at Lebanon Following Rocket Attack

Israel Air Force struck at terror target south of Beirut, a few hours after Lebanese terrorists fired 4 rockets at Israel’s Galilee.

Israeli aircraft struck a terror target south of Beirut on Thursday night, said the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit.

According to the statement, a direct hit was identified and all aircraft returned safely to their bases.

The IDF statement said that the airstrike came in response to Thursday afternoon’s rocket attack from Lebanon at northern Israel.

Reported: Rocket fired at Israel from southern Lebanon

Lebanese security sources say rocket has been fired in the direction of Israel, although it remains a mystery where it may have landed.

Israeli military & police are searching around Metula for source of impact.

A rocket was fired from south Lebanon towards Israel on Sunday, Lebanese security sources said. Residents of the northern Israeli town of Metula reported hearing a blast.

4 Katyusha Rocket Attacks via Sinai launched the IAF hit on Ahmed Jabri

Arab terrorists Wednesday afternoon attacked Israel shooting 4 Katyusha rockets from either the Sinai or from Gaza through the Sinai.

Arab terrorists Wednesday attacked the south with four Katyusha rockets from the Sinai, an Israeli security source confirmed. No one was injured, and no property damage was reported, but at least one missile exploded between homes.

One of the rockets was fired towards the community of Bnei Netzarim without causing any injuries, a security source said. The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood government is ostensibly responsible for protecting the Sinai from terrorists.

“What we know for sure is that there were four explosions in Bnei Netzarim and there is a sense within the army that they were fired from Sinai and not from Gaza,” the source said. Continue Reading »

Breaking News: Israel Strikes Back! IAF strikes head of Hamas’ military wing Ahmed Jabri

Hamas gov’t reports Israeli aircraft attacked a car in the Gaza Strip critically wounding 2 passengers.

 

The IAF in recent minutes struck the head of Hamas’ military wing Ahmed Jabri in central Gaza. The airstrike marks the beginning of a campaign to target Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror organizations in Gaza, IDF spokesman Yoav Mordechai said.

“The first aim of this operation is to bring back quiet to southern Israel, and the second target is to strike at terror organizations,” Modechai said.
