A probe into an incident that saw two Palestinians breaking into an IDF base found that the soldier guarding the entrance to the site failed to discharge his weapon before being overpowered by the intruders.

The break-in occurred around 1:45 am Friday as a storm raged in the area of the base, which overlooks the Palestinian village of Al-Ram near Jerusalem. Cleared for publication:The terrorist who carried out the bombing attack on a bus in central Tel Aviv Wednesday was apprehended by Israeli security forces within hours of the attack.

The terrorist was apprehended in a joint operation conducted by the Shin Bet, Israel Police and the IDF. Twenty-nine people were injured in the attack.

The Shin Bet said Thursday that the terrorist, an Israeli citizen who previously lived in the West Bank and was allowed to settle in Tayibe under the family reunification law, was recruited by a terror cell from the village of Beit Liqya, near Ramallah. Continue Reading »

An Israeli man suffered light injuries Wednesday after he was stabbed by a Palestinian assailant at the West Bank settlement of Beitar Illit.

Magen David Adom emergency services were called to the scene and treated the man, whose neck was cut, on the site.

The assailant, who fled the immediate scene, was apprehended by security forces shortly thereafter.

Authorities believe the Palestinian’s act was nationalistically motivated.

No Injuries after IDF Force Attacked by Gaza Mortars

Palestinian Authority Arab terrorists fired five mortar shells on Monday afternoon at an IDF force that was operating near the Kissufim crossing in central Gaza.

The IDF Spokesman said that there were no physical injuries or damage. The soldiers fired shots towards suspicious areas after the attack.

The terrorists in Hamas-controlled Gaza have upped their attacks in recent days. An Israeli woman suffered light injuries while running for shelter during a Sabbath rocket attack on the city of Sderot. Continue Reading »

Hevron: Arab Woman Arrested in Attempted Stabbing of Policeman

Young woman squirts pepper spray at Border Police, says she wanted to stab a soldier.

A 20 year old Arab woman was arrested in Hevron Thursday in what police say was an attempt to stab soldiers.

The woman was arrested when she tried to spray pepper spray at Border Police at the Tzalbanit checkpoint, near the Cave of Patriarchs. A knife was then found in her bag.

In her initial interrogation she admitted that she intended to stab a soldier or policeman. She was taken away to be interrogated by the Shin Bet.

The Tatzpit news agency reported Thursday afternoon that about 40 Arabs rioted on the Cross-Binyamin Highway near Neve Tzuf and hurled rocks at vehicles passing on the road and at IDF soldiers. Continue Reading »

Third Gaza Rocket Attack Strikes Sderot

A third rocket attack launched at southern Israel from Gaza Monday evening exploded in the town of Sderot at about 10:00 p.m.

A third rocket attack launched at southern Israel from Gaza Monday evening exploded in the town of Sderot. The short-range Qassam rocket landed in an open area of the town, about 15 seconds after the Color Red incoming missile alert system was activated.

No one was physically injured, although a number of residents who suffer from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) had trauma symptoms re-triggered by the attack. No property damage was reported, authorities said. Continue Reading »

A Jewish trucker ended the lives of two Palestinian Authority Arabs who attempted to kidnap him and steal his vehicle on a road in the Hevron Hills area of Judea (Yehuda) on Sunday. A third Arab who was involved in the attempted robbery and kidnapping was wounded.

The 52-year-old trucker, a resident of the coastal city of Ashkelon, was also injured in the incident.

Violence erupts on Gaza border

Palestinian snipers open fire at farmers near Gaza fence, open fire at firefighters extinguishing blaze.

 

 

IDF troops exchanged fire with Palestinian gunmen in the Gaza Strip on Thursday night.

A Palestinian sniper in southern Gaza fired at a tractor traveling on a road in Kibbutz Nir Oz close to the border fence. The driver of the tractor was not injured, but the sniper’s fire shattered the vehicle’s windshield.

Gaza sniper fires at farmer near border fence

Farmer working in field in Eshkol Regional Council area hides behind tractor until IDF soldiers arrive to evacuate him.

A Palestinian sniper in the southern Gaza Strip fired at an Israeli farmer working in a field near Kibbutz Nir Oz in the Eshkol Regional Council area on Thursday.

The man was not injured, hiding behind a tractor until IDF soldiers arrived and evacuated him to safety. IDF soldiers returned fire toward the Palestinian sniper.

The tractor’s  windshield was shattered by the Palestinian sniper’s fire.

Last month, a palestinian snipper in the central-Gaza area shot and wounded two IDF soldiers.

Arab Tries to Stab Security Guard on Light Rail

Arab man tries to stab a security guard with scissors at the Jerusalem Light Rail’s station in the French Hill neighborhood

An Arab man tried on Wednesday evening to stab a security guard at the Jerusalem Light Rail’s station in the French Hill neighborhood.

The man took out a pair of scissors and tried to stab one of the guards, but his colleagues drew their guns and managed to overtake the Arab. No one was hurt.

Police forces arrived on the scene and began investigating the incident.

A few weeks ago, passengers on the Jerusalem Light Rail were targeted by Arabs in the Beit Hanina neighborhood, located in the northern section of the capital. Continue Reading »

Qassam hits western Negev; none injured

Rocket fired from Gaza causes small brush fire but no injuries; IAF strikes targets in Strip

 

A Qassam rocket fired from northern Gaza exploded on the outskirts of Sderot at noon on Monday. No injuries were reported.A small brush fire erupted at the landing site, but was quickly extinguished by local firefighters.

The IAF struck a terror tunnel and a weapons mill in northern Gaza Strip overnight.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said that the pilots reported destroying their marks, adding that the strike came in response to Sunday’s rocket fire at the western Negev.

Terrorists Fire Qassam Rocket at Southern Israel

A Qassam rocket fired by terrorists in Hamas-controlled Gaza explodes in an open area of the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council.

A Qassam rocket launched by terrorists in Hamas-controlled Gaza exploded on Friday afternoon in an open area of the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council.

The “Red Alert” siren was sounded in the area before the rocket exploded. There were no reports of physical injuries or damage.

On Wednesday evening, at least one Grad rocket was fired into southern Israel. The rocket landed in an open field in the Shaar HaNegev council region near Saad.

No physical injuries or property damage was reported in the attack, which happened as Israelis began their Lag Ba’Omer celebrations. Continue Reading »

Terrorists Fire on Jewish Motorist in Samaria

A Jewish motorist passing the Arab village of Sinjil in Samaria was fired upon; she escaped harm; IDF searching for terrorists in force

Terrorists on Tuesday evening opened fire on a Jewish motorist travelling on Route 60.

The incident occurred near the Arab village of Sinjil, which is north of the Jewish community of Ofra.

No one was injured in the incident, but an examination of the vehicle by police revealed damage from bullets.

A large IDF force was called to the scene and is presently sweeping the area in search of the terrorists.
