Palestinian Authority Denies Jews Any Rights to Western Wall

Decree is just another example in a string of anti-Israel propaganda, as “peace talks” are set to begin.

By Ari Soffer

In what is being described as yet another example of Palestinian Authority (PA) denial of the Jewish connection to Jerusalem and the very legitimacy of the State of Israel, the Presidential Guard of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has claimed the Western Wall as an Arab and Islamic site.

Last week, a picture of the Western Wall was posted onto the PA Presidential Guard’s official Facebook page with a PA flag superimposed on it, along with the words “The Al Buraq Wall – Public Relations and Information – The Presidential Guard – Palestinian youth know their rights.”

Netanyahu to Kerry: Continual Palestinian Incitement isn’t Conducive to Peace

PM Netanyahu wrote to Kerry saying “Incitement and peace do not go together,” after continual incendiary statements being broadcast on PA TV.

By Gil Ronen

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sent a letter Saturday evening to U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in which he complained that Palestinian Authority (PA) incitement against Israel is continuing even after a return to U.S.-brokered “peace negotiations” between Israel and the PA was announced.

“Incitement and peace do not go together,” wrote Netanyahu. “Instead of educating the next generation of Palestinians to live in peace with Israel, the education to terror poisons them against Israel and lays the groundwork for continued violence and terror.” Continue Reading »

Five Serious Flaws to Kerry’s Mideast Peace Plans

Kerry’s new Palestinian-Israeli talks are  far from being a fresh chance for peace. Lacking in any Palestinian reciprocity,  good faith or eagerness for peace, the results will only prove be a grave threat to the Jewish State.

By  Noah Beck

Here is a list of reasons why Secretary Kerry’s Mideast peace process is unfairly flawed in ways that endanger Israel.

The Five Flaws of Kerry's Mideast Peace Process

Three Blind Mice – Israel Today

1) No Palestinian reciprocity at the outset. Israel agreed to release 104 convicted terrorists just to get the Palestinians to talk peace. Would the U.S. agree to release 104 Guantanamo prisoners for talks with anyone? Continue Reading »

U.S. President Obama promised Israeli PM Netanyahu to take direct action against Iran “within months,” but did not elaborate on details.

By Arutz Sheva

U.S. President Barack Obama gave a commitment to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, to take action “in the coming months” regarding the Iranian nuclear threat, in exchange for Israel’s agreement to renew “peace talks” with the Palestinian Authority (PA), a security source told Arutz Sheva.

The source said, however, that Obama did not reach a specific agreement with Netanyahu, but gave only a general commitment. The source added that it was not clear if the commitment was given in exchange for the very fact that Israel-PA negotiations are being held, or if it is conditional on their success. Full Text: PM Netanyahu’s Open Letter to Israelis

In a rare communiqué, the Prime Minister explains his rationale for releasing terrorists, despite harsh opposition from the public.

By Gil Ronen

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu took the rare step Saturday evening of publishing a long missive to the Israeli public. In it, he explains why he has agreed to release 104 terrorists as a “gesture” accompanying “peace talks” with the Palestinian Authority. He also states that the talks need to last at least nine months.

Netanyahu’s messages to the public are usually delivered through much shorter communiques, or in interviews. His decision to opt for a relatively long letter may reflect his awareness that the Israeli public is solidly opposed to the terrorist prisoner release, and is generally fed up and cynical about “peace talks” that have been going nowhere for 20 years. Hamas: What Peace Talks? There’s No Negotiating with the Occupation

Hamas quickly rejects U.S. Sec of St announcement of a return to peace talks between the Abu Mazan & Israel.

By Elad Benari, Canada

The Hamas terrorist group which controls Gaza was quick to pour cold water on U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s announcement that peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority would resume.

“Hamas rejects Kerry’s announcement of a return to talks and considers the Palestinian Authority’s return to negotiations with the occupation to be at odds with the national consensus,” Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri told AFP on Friday, after Kerry announced at a press conference in Amman that negotiators from both sides will be meeting in Washington next week. Kerry Goes Home After PLO says No

Mustafa Barghouti, a PA member of parliament, said “most factions” within the PLO had rejected Kerry’s proposal.

By Arutz Sheva

US Secretary of State John Kerry was preparing to leave the Middle East on Friday as Palestinian Authority (PA) leaders rejected his plan to resume the stalled peace talks.

The setback for the US plan came from the governing Revolutionary Council of Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas’s own Fatah (PLO) movement, which demanded changes. This, despite reports that Israel had agreed to negotiate with the PA on the basis of tacit agreements that Israeli nationalists would find hard to swallow.

The broader Palestine Liberation Organisation, which also includes leftwing factions less sympathetic towards a compromise, said it was also drawing up a formal response to Kerry’s proposals. Continue Reading »
