A fire in the West Bank suspected to have been set by Jewish extremists killed an 18-month-old Palestinian child and critically wounded a four-year-old brother and both parents on Friday, Israeli security officials said.

Dozens of Arab youth have made a most unexpected and surprising response to “price tag” hate crimes — they restored the ancient Jewish synagogue in their town. Youth from the Arab Christian town Shefaram in the Galilee renovated the 250-year-old synagogue in order to “show that there is a better way.”

‘Price Tag’ Attack: Tires of 34 cars punctured in East Jerusalem neighborhood

 

After 2 Israel Policemen were hospitalized from an unprovoked Arab rock-throwing mob at Rachel’s Tomb yesterday, a ‘price tag’ (pay-back) attack in Jerusalem’s Arab neighborhood of Beit Hanina was discovered early this  morning.

The tires of 34 vehicles in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Beit Hanina were punctured overnight Sunday, and the writing “Goyim in the country = enemies” was sprayed in Hebrew on a bus.

The commanding officer of the Regional Samaria Brigade, Brig. Gen. Yoav Yarom, had his car tires slashed while meeting with the head of the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar on Friday.

Yarom was meeting with representatives of the Nablus-adjacent settlement to discuss the recent friction in the last week between settlers and Palestinians near Yitzhar. Dozens of Jewish men were abducted and beaten in a mob attack in the Binyamin region on Tuesday afternoon. The men were set upon by an Arab mob, chased down, tied up and beaten senseless.

One of the men told Arutz Sheva about the vicious attack. The men were attacked as they were walking from the Jewish village of Esh Kodesh to the nearby Givat Hayovel.

Grassroots interfaith group calls price tags attacks “cancer,” urges government to classify their vandalism attacks as acts of terrorism.

 

 

 

Price tag attacks must be classified as acts of terrorism, said a small group of Israeli Jews and Arabs as they jointly rallied Sunday morning in front of the Prime Minister’s Office during the weekly cabinet meeting in hopes of swaying the government to clamp down on such incidents.

Arson in Arab Town Appears to be ‘Price Tag’ Pay-Back

5 Arabs hurt in arson attack in a PA town in the Binyamin region. Authorities suspect the fire was set as ‘revenge’ for the brutal murder of IDF soldier.

A building was set on fire late on Wednesday night in the Palestinian Authority Arab town of Sinjil, in the Binyamin region.

The building was painted with the words, “Hi from Eden – Revenge,” leading security forces to believe the arson attack was carried out in response to the murder Wednesday of young Israeli soldier Eden Atias.

Aharonovitch & Livni: ‘Price tag’ offenders to be charged with act of terror

Both Justice Minister & Interior Security Minister to introduce to the cabinet an initiative where ‘price tag’ crimes be recognized under the law as terror acts

An initiative to change the legal standing of “price tag” attacks to that of an act of terror will be brought before the cabinet next week, according to a resolution devised by Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, Internal Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovich and representatives from the police and security forces.
