HRW: Facebook judges Hamas and PFLP unfairly, censors Palestinian posts

Human Rights Watch claims Facebook wrongly censors Palestinian posts on ‘Israeli human rights abuses’ and its unfair designation of Hamas and PFLP as “dangerous organizations”, is a serious threat to free expression.

Human Rights Watch (HRW) claimed on Friday that Facebook wrongfully removed content by Palestinian activists about Palestine and Israeli human rights violations during Operation Guardians of the Wall in May.

HRW, the New York-based NGO, also claimed that Facebook’s reliance on the United States’ Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) list for designating organizations as “dangerous” is a threat to free expression as it prohibits Palestinian leaders from using Facebook. Continue Reading »

Biden WH accused of lying to Congress to cover up funding Palestinians

A legal watchdog group called on the State Dept. Inspector General to look into the fact that to finance the Palestinians, the Biden administration nefariously omitted in its Congressional report continued Palestinian incitement to violence, support for terrorism & the BDS movement, and teaches in its schools that Israel does not have a right to exist.

Turkey’s Despot Erdogan Spewing ‘Conspiracy Theories’ to Incite Muslims Against Israel

UAE minister accuses Al Jazeera of anti-Semitism, inciting hate

An Israeli rights group suing Facebook on behalf of families of victims killed by Palestinian attackers said on Thursday that it will appeal after the case was dismissed by a New York court.

Turkey’s Erdogan is inciting again: Calls on world’s Muslims to ascend on Jerusalem

 

In a speech in Istanbul, the Turkish President claimed, “Israel kills children that play on the beach,” and condemned a new Israeli law that forbids the use of outdoor loud-speakers blasting the ‘call for prayer’ in residential areas from 11 p.m.- 7 a.m. threatening “a sufficient response to all who think to prevent the sound of the Muezzin in Al-Aksa and Jerusalem.”

German police raid 60 authors of anti-Semitic internet postings

In a nationwide attempt to identify & arrest the sources of hateful, anti-Semitic postings on the internet, police in 14 German states conduct coordinated raids on 60 individuals.

BERLIN (JTA) — Police in 14 German states reportedly conducted raids on 60 individuals in an attempt to root out the sources of anti-Semitic and other hate postings on the internet.

According to German news reports, the raids followed months of observing one Facebook group that glorified National Socialism and broke German laws against promoting hate.

No Arab riots (so far) after 1st secret Jewish wedding on Temple Mount since 2nd Temple

 

Reported as first Jewish marriage ceremony on the Temple Mount since the Second Temple’s destruction some 2000 years ago, the couple purportedly said to have secretly exchanged their vows, at Judaism’s holiest site, unnoticed by the Israel police or the Muslim Waqf guards.

A young, unidentified Jewish couple purportedly made history on the Temple Mount earlier this week after becoming only the second couple in 2,000 years to have a wedding ceremony at Judaism’s holiest site.

While details of the secretive ceremony remain unclear, according to a Tuesday statement from the Temple Institute, based in Jerusalem, its international director, Rabbi Chaim Richman, was asked by the duo to officiate their marriage on the contested compound, the Jewish Press reported.

Facebook leads as social media incitement on the rise in Israel

 

A new report exposes a worrying increase of incitement & racism on social media, from cursing LGBTs, despising leftists, to hatred of Arabs and calls for severe physical violence.

A sense that this year has been one of extreme rhetoric and violent, politically- and racially-motivated attacks on social media is now backed up by statistics.

A doctored ‘dislike’ Facebook icon. Facebook has been the source of most racist and inciting comments in 2015.

A new report published by the Berl Katznelson Foundation that studied the phenomenon of incitement and violence shows a 20 percent increase over the past year in the number of inciting and racist statements on social media in Israel.

German court fines Danish imam for seeking murder of ‘Zionist Jews’ in videotaped sermon

 

The Berlin court ruled Abu Bilal Ismail was guilty of incitement to hatred by preaching Jews are “criminals who kill prophets & children,” and that “Allah should kill Jews.”

A German criminal court has fined Danish imam Sheikh Abu Bilal Ismail for incitement to hatred after convicting him of calling at a Berlin mosque for the extermination of Jews during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge.

The Jerusalem Post obtained a copy of the 16-page court verdict on Tuesday.

4,000 PA bound terrorist-dolls were discovered in a shipment from the United Arab Emirates that raised custom’s officials suspicion.

“Inciting dolls,” that is the terminology used by Tax Authority officials to describe boxed dolls which were seized in Haifa as part of a shipment from the UAE.

Boxes within the shipment contained about 4,000 dolls.
