The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ) has long sought to foster understanding between Jews and Christians in North America, and now in a new campaign it is looking south to Brazil’s growing evangelical Christian population.

IFCJ founder and president Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein is currently in the middle of a two-week trip to a number of mega-churches throughout Brazil, in an effort to create new support for Israel and Jewish issues.
The academic scholarships were awarded to 40 Christians, who either served in Israel’s armed forces or performed national service, as a catalyst to further integrate young Christians into Israeli society.

For the first time, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and the Israeli Christians Recruitment Forum will award academic scholarships to 40 Christians who served in Israel’s armed forces or performed national service.

The aim of the scholarship program is to continue to encourage the integration of young members of the Christian community into Israeli society, while reducing gaps and providing opportunities to acquire a higher education. Continue Reading »
