Iranian drones heading to Israel were shot down over Iraq

The two armed Shahed-136 kamikaze drones that were on their way to Israel in a reprisal mission, were intercepted & downed in mid February by int’l coalition jets near Erbil Iraq.

Two Iranian drones shot down over Iraq last month by American fighter jets were set to explode in Israeli territory, the defense establishment has confirmed.

The drones, which were downed by the international coalition close to Erbil in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, were said to be Shahed-136.

Prior to the foiled attack, which occurred on February 14, Israeli security officials had been on high alert over fears of an Iranian response to a series of Israeli attacks on Iranian targets as part of the IDF’s war-between-wars campaign. Continue Reading »

Iran places ‘suicide drones’ in Yemen, capable of hitting Israel

In a report published by Newsweek, Iran positioned ‘suicide’ UAVs with an effective range of 2,000 – 2,200 kms in northern Yemen  to hit Saudi Arabia, Gulf states, or Israeli targets, so that from there, it will give the ruling Ayatollahs “plausible deniability,” having been fired from Yemen.

Iran has apparently sent deadly “suicide drones” to Yemen capable of hitting Israeli targets, Newsweek reported.

Imagery seen by Newsweek and confirmed by an expert on Iranian activities showed the existence of Iranian Shahed-136 loitering munitions in the northern Yemeni Houthi-controlled province of Al-Jawf.
