New union party seeking Arab supporters found instead radical groups calling Livni & Herzog ‘murderers’ when they visited the Arab town of Umm al-Fahm, in north central Israel.

There is growing tension between the Labor-Hatnua list, officially known as The Zionist Camp, and the Arab sector in Israel.
Dozens of people protested Saturday against the visit by party leaders Yitzhak Herzog and Tzipi Livni – as well as the Arab candidate on the list, Zohair Bahalul – at Umm al-Fahm, in north central Israel. Three were arrested when a scuffle broke out with police.

30,000 Arabs attend annual Islamic movement rally in Umm al-Fahm

 

Thousands of Israeli Muslim Arabs attend annual ‘Al-Aqsa Mosque in Danger’ rally sponsored by the northern branch of Islamic Movement.

This year, the rally was also dedicated to Egyptian struggle, bearing Morsi’s picture, pro-Brotherhood signs

Some 30,000 Arab Israelis took part Friday in a rally titled “Al-Aqsa Mosque in Danger,” in the northern town of Umm al-Fahm. The event was organized by the northern branch of the Islamic Movement.

Attendees were waving Palestinian flags, crying out “We will sacrifice our lives for Al-Aqsa.”
