Israeli delegation returns from Bahrain conference on Mid-East stability

An Israeli Foreign Ministry delegation returns from a 2-day summit in Bahrain, alongside Saudi Arabia & the UAE, in line with Jerusalem’s endeavors to strengthen ongoing ties with Sunni Arab states that share Israel’s concern over Iran’s disruptive & threatening behavior in the region.

An Israeli Foreign Ministry delegation is in Manama, Bahrain to participate in a conference of members of the Working Group on Maritime and Aviation Security, an alliance established by the United States to protect trade in the Gulf.

The October 21-22 initiative, hosted by Bahrain in conjunction with the U.S. and Poland, stems from a conference held in Warsaw last February that was attended by top officials from some 60 nations, the goal being to seek ways to attain stability in the Middle East. Continue Reading »

White House unveils grandiose $50B investment plan for Palestinians

Palestinian kleptocrats continue to rebuff the Trump Team’s creation of a “master fund” to administer the $50B plan that will implement monumental national projects modeled after the Marshall Plan (that rebuilt Europe after World War II) knowing full well it will reduce Palestinian poverty by 50% and bring down their sky-high unemployment rate to single digits.

The Trump administration on Saturday unveiled a $50 billion Palestinian investment and infrastructure proposal intended to be the economic engine to power its much-anticipated but still unreleased “deal of the century” Middle East peace plan.

The plan, which calls for a mix of public and private financing and intends to create at least a million new jobs for Palestinians, was posted to the White House website ahead of a two-day conference in Bahrain that is being held amid heavy skepticism about its viability and outright opposition from the Palestinians. Ignoring PLO demands, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco will attend Palestinian conference

The three Arab countries, along with Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar will each send a delegation to the US planned economic summit in Bahrain that’s dedicated to boosting the Palestinian economy, despite the Palestinian leadership’s boycott of it.
