The Palestinians are ready to go ahead and apply for International Criminal Court membership and take Israel to the court, Senior Fatah official Mohammed Ashtiya declared Thursday, Israeli daily Haaretz reported.

Sick Disgusting Fatah Cartoon Mocking Kidnapped Jewish Teens as ‘Rats’

The official Facebook page Palestinian Authority head Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party has posted a cartoon comparing the three kidnapped Israeli students to rats.

The post on the “Palestinian National Liberation Movement “Fatah” / Central Page” shows three rats with Stars of David dangling from a fishing rod; its implications are unmistakable.

The sickening cartoon illustrates the mixed messages sent by the PA; on the one hand, Abbas promised to help Israel find the abducted teens – even as a senior PA official denied his administration would take any responsibility for the kidnappings. Continue Reading »

Turkey, China & India endorse Palestinian gov’t with Hamas

All three called on the international community to throw its support behind and work with the new government, in contrast to the wishes of the Israeli government, which is seeking to punish the Palestinian Authority for forming a government with Hamas.

Palestinians: Israel Threatens to Sever Ties With Hamas-Fatah Unity Gov’t

Israel has informed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas directly that all contact with the Palestinian Authority will be severed the moment the new Palestinian unity government is sworn in, a senior figure in the Palestinian president’s office has told Haaretz.

Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah faction espouses the same ideology of destroying Israel as Hamas, with which it signed a unity deal last Wednesday, according to newly revealed video segments of a senior Fatah official.

Fatah Central Committee member Tawfiq Tirawi last week posted a video to YouTube of his comments from a pro-terrorist ceremony in Gaza. In his speech mere days before the unity deal, Tirawi said Gaza “will return to the bosom of legitimacy.”

Tirawi added “the homeland…is…all of Palestine, from its [Jordan] River to its [Mediterranean] Sea,” describing a map that effectively wipes out the Jewish state. Continue Reading »

The Palestinians won’t accept anything less than a fully sovereign state with east Jerusalem as its capital, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said on Saturday.

Abbas was speaking during an emergency meeting of the Fatah Central Committee in Ramallah.

The Palestinians won’t make any concessions on their rights “regardless of the pressure and threats,” he said.

The Fatah party of Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has posted threats to bomb Tel Aviv on its official Facebook page.

Calling us 'racist' seems empty considering the source.

The threats came in the form of a video by Fatah’s armed wing – the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade – which threatened to turn Tel Aviv “into a ball of fire”, as well as escalated rocket fire on Israeli civilians.

Hamas announces steps toward ending feud with Fatah

Gazan Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh announced a series of measures on Monday  aimed at bringing reconciliation between Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, and its main rival, Fatah, which controls the Palestinian Authority that runs the West Bank.

Armed Fatah Members in Gaza Arrested by Hamas

Hamas crashed an Al Aqsa Brigades press conference before arresting four members then forcing the men to unmask.

Four members of the Fatah affiliated Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades group have been arrested by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The arrests were reported by the Maan news agency, who said the four, yielding weapons, delivered a vitriolic press conference from the Al Ghafri Tower in Gaza City. The report said after journalists left, Hamas men surrounded the building and forced the Aqsa fighters to unmask before they were detained.

In recent months, Hamas security agencies have detained dozens of Fatah-affiliated political activists accusing them of belonging to the ‘Tamarod’ (Rebel) movement, which was formed to overthrow Muslim Brotherhood rule in Egypt. Continue Reading »

Palestinian Worshipers Throw out Fatah Official from Temple Mount

Angry Muslim worshipers on Tuesday expelled a senior Fatah official from the Temple Mount compound.

The official, Azzam Ahmed, was accompanying a Jordanian delegation on a tour of the compound when some worshipers began hurling abuse at him.

Eyewitnesses said that the worshipers called on Ahmed to leave the area after accusing him of failing to coordinate his visit with the Fatah leadership in east Jerusalem.

 

A Fatah activist in the city told The Jerusalem Post that Ahmed and the Jordanian delegation notified only the Israeli authorities of their intention to visit the site.

Fatah: Abbas will soon implement ‘painful decisions’ against Hamas

The Palestinian Authority will soon take “painful decisions” against Hamas, senior Fatah official Azzam al- Ahmed announced on Sunday.

Ahmed did not specify the nature of the decisions.

However, he said that Hamas would no longer be considered a partner in any process after the decisions are taken by the PA leadership.

The official denied that the PA leadership in the West Bank was considering declaring the Gaza Strip a “rogue entity.”
