Turkish leader scheming Jerusalem Islamization prior to US Embassy relocation

Erdogan’s Turkey is meddle in internal Israeli affairs by investing large amounts of money in so-called ‘charity’ activities in Arab Jerusalem. According to the Shin Bet security agency, an “investigation points to the deep involvement of Hamas members in Turkey,” coordinating and promoting terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria.

In the run-up to the US Embassy move to Jerusalem, Turkey, together with the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, is pumping a quarter of a billion dollars into the Islamification of the city, according to Israel’s Hadashot News (formerly Channel 2 News).

The Wakf, the Muslim custodian of the Islamic holy places on the Temple Mount, and a slew of Islamist organizations in Israel’s capital received the bulk of the money officially to ‘rescue’ the holy sites and to finance ‘renovations.’ Continue Reading »

Hamas: ‘Normalization with Israel serves Turkey’s interest, Gaza siege doesn’t’

 

Hamas official tells an Arab London-based newspaper: “Erdoğan told the leadership that he must make progress on the normalization deal with Israel in order to serve Turkey’s interests, …but the Israeli gov’t stubbornly rejected his attempts,” to lift the siege.

Amid reports about an approaching normalization deal between Israel and Turkey, Hamas claims that Turkey has renounced the condition that Israel lift the siege on Gaza that it has defined as a prerequisite for reconciliation.

Turkish official: Hamas leadership negotiating long-term ceasefire with Israel

Senior adviser to Turkish PM  Davutoglu verified that Gaza leaders are negotiating a lifting of Israel’s blockade of the strip.

A long-term ceasefire between Israel and the Gaza-based Palestinian Islamist group Hamas is currently being negotiated, a senior Turkish official said on Sunday.

“Gaza is heading towards a comprehensive agreement on the issue of lifting the blockade and opening the [border] crossings in a long-term ceasefire deal with Israel,” said Yasin Aktay, a senior adviser to Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

“The issue was discussed during [Hamas chief] Khaled Meshaal’s visit to Ankara last week,” he added, noting that Meshaal discussed the detail of an agreement mediated by former British prime minister and Middle East Quartet envoy Tony Blair. Continue Reading »

Israel allowed Turkey to deploy a Turkish ship off the coast of Gaza to serve as temporary power plant, until the Gaza power plant, damaged during the summer’s war with Israel, is repaired, Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs Hussein al-Sheikh said on Thursday according to Israel’s Ynetnews website.
