An Israeli student has created robots that might change the world of package deliveries for good.

Kobi Shikar, an engineering and design student at Shenkar School of Engineering in Ramat Gan, Israel, has designed a robotic delivery service, Transwheel.

The Daily Mail reported that the robots are one- wheeled drones, which balance themselves by using a similar system to the popular Segway. They contain a facial recognition software to identify recipients and have a GPS system in order to make their way around. Continue Reading »

Israeli start-up Waze, which provides a real-time navigation and traffic report app for smartphones, is reportedly set to turn down a $1 billion dollar acquisition bid by Facebook in order to keep its team in Israel.
