A multi-million dollar deal has been concluded between the Israeli defense systems manufacturer Refael, producer of the Iron Dome, and Romania’s defense contractor Romaero, in Refael’s first collaboration with an EU state.

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems signed Wednesday an agreement for local production of domestic air defense systems and ground systems with the Romanian company Romaero.

The Romanian government on Thursday approved a plan to transfer the state’s embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The approval came as Israelis celebrated the Jewish State’s 70th anniversary.
According to reports in local media, the decision includes timetables for implementing the plan. However, the timetables have not been published.
