A Muslim policewoman was called ‘traitor’ for ‘serving in occupation army, oppressing her nation’ by fellow villagers.

An Arab-Muslim female police officer serving in the Jerusalem District received death threats accusing her of being a “traitor”.

A resident of a village in northern Israel, where the officer herself lives, published her picture on the internet and wrote that she is a “traitor”. He also wrote that she is “serving in the occupation army oppressing her nation.”

The U.S. government and the Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) recruited the assistance of an Israeli-developed smart-phone app to deal with gasoline shortages on the East Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
