Terrorist Shot Dead After Throwing Firebomb at IDF Soldiers

1 Palestinian terrorist killed after IDF soldiers open fire at 2 Arab terrorists who threw firebombs at them in northern Samaria.

IDF soldiers opened fire on Wednesday night at two terrorists who approached an IDF position near the community of Einav in northern Samaria.

As the two terrorists approached the soldiers, they hurled a firebomb at them. The soldiers returned fire, killing one terrorist and wounding the other.

PA officials told AFP that the killed terrorist was a 16-year-old teen, identified as Amer Nassar.

The latest attack comes after two days of unrest in Judea and Samaria, as Palestinian Authority Arabs rioted over the death of an elderly terrorist who was serving time in an Israeli jail. Continue Reading »

The defendants were arrested in January and February in Beit Fajar, a village near the Palestinian city, Army Radio reported Thursday following the expiration of a gag order on the arrests.

Terrorist gunmen fired Monday morning at a Jewish man, aged around 70, at the hitchhiking station outside Kedumim, in Samaria.

The man is in light to moderate condition. The bullets fired by the terrorists struck the man’s leg. He received treatment from MDA emergency services.

Bezons Mayor defends honoring PFLP Assassin of MK Rehavam Ze’evi

A French mayor whose municipality recently honored the Palestinian murderer of an Israeli minister defended the move and accused critics of “hatred” and “complicity in occupation.”

Mayor Dominique Lesparre of the Paris suburb of Bezons said in a statement released Wednesday that his municipality’s vote last month to name Majdi Al-Rimawi an honorary resident was part of a “tradition of peace, solidarity and cooperation with the Palestinian people.”

An Israeli court convicted Rimawi, a member of the terrorist organization Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and three others for the 2001 murder of Knesset member Rehavam Ze’evi in Jerusalem. Continue Reading »

French Town Honors Israeli Minister’s Palestinian Assassin

The European Jewish Congress (EJC) has slammed the decision by Bezons, a suburb of Paris, to grant terrorist murderer Majdi al-Rimawi ”honorary citizenship.”

Rechavam Ze’eviAl-Rimawi was sentenced by an Israeli court to life imprisonment plus 80 years for participating in the planning and murder of Israeli Minister Rechavam Zeevi in 2001. The inscription on the plaque prepared by the municipality of Bezons refers to Al-Rimawi as a “political prisoner.”

The IDF and other security forces are on high alert Monday in Judea and Samaria, ready to react to any violence that accompanies the funeral of a terrorist prisoner who died in an Israeli jail.

Terrorist apprehended in West Bank, including 2 Hamas MPs

IDF special forces conduct overnight sweep in major Palestinian cities in Judea & Samaria; 9 Hamas legislators among the 25 Palestinians taken in for questioning

Palestinian sources reported Monday that Israeli security forces conducted an overnight sweep in the West Bank, arresting 25 Palestinians including nine senior members of Hamas.

PFLPIDF forces arrested nine of the Islamist movement’s members in Nablus and two of its parliament members – Hatem Qafisheh and Mohammed al-Tal in Hebron.

Hamas MP Ahmed Atun was detained in Ramallah and another MP was arrested in the West Bank city of Qalqilya.

A 21-year-old Palestinian Authority Arab was shot to death by IDF forces south of Hevron on Saturday night, as he was trying to infiltrate into Israel through the border fence.

An initial investigation has found that the Arab was shot and wounded in the lower part of his body. He was taken to the Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva, where he died of his wounds.

A terrorist was shot dead near Shavei Shomron in Samaria Monday after he attacked a Shin Bet agent with an axe.

According to initial details, the terrorist rammed his vehicle into an IDF jeep in the course of IDF security activity. As a result, the jeep overturned.

Four Shin Bet men who were in the jeep suffered slight injuries.

A Palestinian car ran over four soldiers today in the area of Gush Etzion in Judea, outside a town barely ten minutes south of Jerusalem.

Four soldiers were standing on the side of the road in the community of Neve Daniel  in Gush Etzion when a Palestinian Arab owned vehicle hit the group and proceeded to run off.

The injured soldiers were immediately taken to Shaarei Tsedek Hospital in Jersalem, where it was reported that three sustained minor injuries, while one was left with more serious injuries. Continue Reading »

A coat worn despite the summer heat gave away a terrorist, 26, who planned an attack at the Hizme checkpoint, in northern Jerusalem.

The terrorist arrived at the checkpoint at noontime Friday. The fact that he was wearing a coat despite the great heat aroused the Border Police’s suspicion. They conducted a search and found a large kitchen knife in the man’s possession.

The man admitted that he had planned to stab hitchhikers at the Hizme station. When he failed to find any hitchhikers there, he decided to try and stab a policeman. Continue Reading »

A Palestinian man who was denied entry to Israel by security forces stationed at the Hashmonaim checkpoint dropped a bag containing explosives and fled the scene on Wednesday.

A explosives expert who was alerted to the scene found four pipe bombs in the bag, which were then safely detonated. The security forces have launched a manhunt for the suspect.

Cleared for publication: A Palestinian man residing in the West Bank village of Beit Furik, near Nablus, was arrested for allegedly poisoning a Raanana family and a police volunteer in October 2011.

Adnan Othman Nasaara, 46, has reportedly admitted to lacing food and drink in the Lerner family home with pesticides, because he “hates Jews.”

The IDF has captured an axe-wielding Palestinian Authority Arab terrorist who attacked and wounded a Jew in the community of Maaleh Levona Tuesday morning.

The attack occurred at the entrance to the community, located in Samaria.

Medics treated the victim for light-to-moderate wounds in chest and evacuated him to Sha’arei Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

Security personnel of the Binyamin region of Samaria, along with the IDF, scouted the area under a barrage of rocks thrown by local Arabs but managed to catch the attacker. Continue Reading »
