Marking the 45th anniversary of establishment of DFLP Palestinian militants march in Abu Dis, next to Jerusalem, supposedly under Israeli security control.

Dozens of masked Palestinians, some of them armed, marched over weekend in the West Bank town of Abu Dis, next to Jerusalem. The town in in Area B, which is under joint Palestinian and Israeli security control.

PFLPAccording to Israel Radio, the marchers were clad in army uniforms and carried a variety of weaponry, including Kalashnikov and M-16 rifles, guns and hand grenades. They were also reportedly firing into the air during the demonstration, which marked 45 years of the establishment of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Continue Reading »

Arab Shot Dead After Firing on IDF Soldiers in Samaria

Palestinian killed at IDF post near Ateret, follows series of shooting attacks in Judea & Samaria.

An Arab terrorist opened fire on an IDF guard post next to the Samaria community of Ateret, which lies roughly midway between Jerusalem and Shechem (Nablus). Soldiers returned fire, taking down the terrorist.

An army statement announced that “a Palestinian terrorist opened fire at an IDF (army) post near Ofra. The soldiers responded immediately in order to eliminate the imminent threat to their lives and fired towards the terrorist, identifying a hit.”

AFP reports that Arab sources have identified the terrorist as 19-year-old Mohammad Mubarak from nearby Jalazun. Continue Reading »

IDF soldiers shoot & kill a knife-wielding Arab terrorist who tried to carry out a terrorist attack near Bethlehem.

Alert IDF soldiers were able to foil a terrorist attack at a checkpoint near Bethlehem on Thursday evening.

A Palestinian Authority Arab terrorist who was armed with a knife arrived at the checkpoint and tried to stab a Border Guard officer who was stationed there.

The terrorist was shot by the soldiers before he could carry out his plan. He was listed in moderate-to-serious condition. IDF soldiers are searching the area to determine whether there are additional terrorists. Continue Reading »

Israel’s security cabinet held a crisis meeting on Monday. The reason: the killing of two Israeli soldiers by Palestinians since Friday.

Earlier the weekend, Tomer Hazan (20) was killed in an Arab village. He was buried on Sunday (photo). Hours later, a Palestinian sniper in Hebron shot and killed another soldier, Kobi Gal, also 20-years-old.

Gal was shot as Israeli soldiers battled a violent Palestinian mob that was hurling stones and firebombs at Jewish worshippers visiting the Tomb of the Patriarchs, burial place of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca, and Leah. Continue Reading »

A Border Guard force arrested three Palestinians near the village of Al-Khader in the West Bank on Thursday. The three were carrying sniper rifles, silencers, telescopic sights, magazines and a pocketknife.

The weapons were discovered during a search in the village after a Molotov cocktail was hurled at a Border Guard vehicle. A mediation session was held Monday between the lawyer representing terrorist Salah Hamouri, who plotted the murder of Rabbi Ovadia Yosef and was released from Israeli jail in the Schalit deal, and the representatives of Arutz Sheva.

Hamouri sued Arutz Sheva, claiming that the website reported that he told the Reuters news agency, immediately after his release, that “Rabbi Yosef deserves to die.” This report, he claimed, “damaged his reputation.”

Hussein Fayyad, one of the commanders of the terror group that carried out the 1978 Coastal Road massacre, revealed on Tuesday that Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas had appointed him as one of his advisers.

The attack, which led to the killing of 38 Israeli civilians, including 13 children, was planned and carried out by Abbas’s Fatah faction.

Fayyad, who was released in a prisoner swap with Israel in 1985, said that Abbas signed a decree in 2008 promoting him to the position of “advisor” to the PA president.

The Military Court of Appeals at the Ofer Base annulled on Monday the indictment filed against Jamal Tirawi, who orchestrated the terror attack at the “My Coffee Shop” cafe in Tel Aviv in 2002.
