How a pro-Israel Muslim was ambushed by Australian breakfast TV

A Muslim physician had been reduced to an instrument of rank media opportunism on Australia’s Channel 7, by producers who shamelessly exploited her Israeli-Palestinian goodwill project at Hadassah hospital, & turned it into a ‘Pallywood’ production for Hamas.

By Dr. Qanta A Ahmed

On a recent trip to Australia I was booked by Ch7′s Weekend Sunrise to discuss Project Rozana, an Israeli-Palestinian initiative to train West Bank physicians (predominantly Palestinian Muslims) in Israel’s Hadassah hospital. As an ambassador for the Project, I was lock step with my ideals both as a physician and as an observing Muslim opposed to virulently anti-Semitic Islamism. Continue Reading »

Australian MPs Outraged at Local ‘Pallywood’ Attempt at Deceptions About Gaza

In an email to Australian MPs that attacked Israel’s ‘Operation Protective Edge’, the activist group ‘Australians for Palestine’, has prompted outrage & disgust by misrepresenting an image of killed Syrian children as young Palestinian victims from the conflict in Gaza.

By CHRISTIAN KERR, The Australian

The group, Australians for Palestine, whose August 10 email compared those killed in Gaza to victims of the Holocaust, has declined to correct the error or apologize, even after the deceptive use of the image was exposed.

Many of the images that supposedly show Gaza under bombardment over the past week are neither current nor from Gaza, the global news organization wrote.

“Some of the images are of the current situation in Gaza,” the BBC said, “but a #BBCtrending analysis has found that some date as far back as 2009 and others are from conflicts in Syria and Iraq.” Continue Reading »

PA Claims Arab Teens Killed By Live IDF Fire – CCTV Shows Event Was Staged, ‘Pallywood’

Palestinian autopsy alleges live bullet reason for Arab rioters’ death.

IDF maintains only rubber bullets used in clashes.

CCTV video casts doubt on PA claims….SO…who really shot them, and where, since they obviously weren’t shot where the PA suggests?

By Ari Yashar

An autopsy conducted at a Palestinian Authority (PA) institute on one of the two Arab rioters who died during the “Nakba (Catastrophe) Day” clashes on May 15 alleges the rioter was killed by a live bullet.

PA Attorney General Abdel-Ghani Al-A’wewy claimed to Reuters that “a fragment from a live bullet was found inside the body of the martyr,” adding a live bullet “was the only reason for the death.” Continue Reading »

NGO accuses Israel of war crime in Palestinian teens’ deaths, but evidence yells ‘staged’

Despite all evidence to the contrary, Human Rights Watch says IDF assurances that its soldiers didn’t use live ammunition on May 15, does not stand up to critical perusal.

By Reuters

The killing last month of two Palestinian teenagers during a protest in the West Bank might constitute a war crime by Israel, Human Rights Watch said in a report published Monday.

IDF: Only rubber bullets were fired in Beitunia – Pallywood clip surfaces

Following a Haaretz report detailing the suspension of an Israel Defense Forces soldier in relation to the May 15 clashes in the West Bank town of Beitunia in which two Palestinian youths were killed, IDF officials said on Wednesday that the soldier in question was firing rubber bullets, not live bullets, and was not aiming at rioters, but at a nearby wall.

Israeli ballistics expert Dr. Yosef Yekutiel, said the rifle barrel used by the Border Policeman seen in the CNN footage was thicker than usual, which means it was adapted for firing rubber bullets.

‘Pallywood’ wants everyone to think Muhammad Al-Dura was really killed

Defense Minister Ya’alon convened a secret investigative unit that concluded Al-Dura had not been shot or hurt & that the France 2 video showing him shot at by IDF had been staged.

The committee’s findings will be made public in near future.

By BEN CASPIT

Does anybody remember Muhammad Al-Dura? He was the 12-year-old boy from Gaza who was allegedly killed by IDF fire during the Second Intifada as he crouched behind his father, Jamal, crying. He became the most potent symbol of the Palestinian struggle. His name can still be heard around the world even to this day.

Gaza fishermen massacre endangered Giant Devil Rays

Arab media clearly showed Gaza fishermen hauling the devil rays ashore, where they were then slaughtered, but British, French & Italian media labeled the presence of hundreds of dead devil rays on Gaza shores a great mystery, claiming that they had simply washed up there.

By Israel Today Staff

A series of photos showing hundreds of dead giant devil rays (a smaller cousin to the manta ray) laid out on the beaches of the Gaza Strip caused something of a media phenomenon last week.

Amb. Michael Oren: Why Fall for Hamas’s media manipulation

If Hamas cannot win the war, it wants to win the story of the war.

By Michael Oren,

Michael Oren is Israel’s ambassador to the United States.

What makes better headlines? Is it numbing figures such as the 8,000 Palestinian rockets fired at Israel since it unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005, and the 42.5 percent of Israeli children living near the Gaza border who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder? Or is it high-resolution images of bombed-out buildings in Gaza and emotional stories of bereaved Palestinians? The last, obviously, as demonstrated by much of the media coverage of Israel’s recent operation against Hamas.

BBC suckered…AGAIN – Miraculous Recovery by Injured Gaza Man?

Pallywood is in high gear as Gazans dupe BBC viewers in time-honored style. Is BBC part & party to Gaza’s disinformation policy?

By Gil Ronen

Barely one day into the fighting in Hamas-run Gaza, the locals are hard at work playing the victim for the world’s press.

Footage from the BBC captured by watchdog group Honest Reporting shows a heavy man lying on the ground and being carried away by residents, apparently after being injured by an Israeli attack.

Moments later, that same man again fills the frame, except he is walking about and obviously unhurt.

The widespread staging of such victim situations is a favored tactic of Arabs fighting Israel and has come to be known as “Pallywood.” Continue Reading »

Pallywood: Crying Blond Arab Girl Resurfaces to Abuse Soldiers

Video shows Arabs in Judea & Samaria have brought soldier-baiting for propaganda  purposes to the degree of ‘art’

By Gil Ronen

A video that has been uploaded to Youtube shows how Arabs in Judea and Samaria abuse their own children and manipulate unwitting Israeli soldiers in order to manufacture photographs that can be used for propaganda purposes.

The case in point is a situation that appears to have been masterfully directed by an unknown propagandist, starring a blond girl who was successfully used for the same purpose three months earlier.

In August, Arab propagandists produced photos of a soldier manhandling a crying Arab girl – an excellent illustration of the theme propagated by Israel’s enemies, regarding Israel’s allegedly evil military occupation of Judea and Samaria. Continue Reading »
