Sunday’s rocket attack on northern Israel was claimed by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC), Kol Yisrael radio reported Sunday night, citing Lebanese media.

The reports were based on comments by Lebanese security officials who said that the rockets used in the attack were transferred to a nearby Palestinian “refugee camp” and were fired at Israel after Palestinian organizations threatened to respond to the assassination of Hezbollah terrorist Samir Kuntar in Syria, which was blamed on Israel.

2nd Report in 24hrs of Israel Air Force Strike Against Targets in Syria

In the second report on Wednesday, Syrian state-run TV said IAF attacked a base of the pro-Assad, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command, injuring 6.

BEIRUT –   An Israeli plane attacked a military base along the Syrian-Lebanese border on Wednesday belonging to a pro-Syrian Palestinian faction, wounding six people, Syrian state television said.

Asked about the reported strike, an Israeli military spokeswoman in Jerusalem declined comment.

Former Palestinian Knesset Member Convicted of Contacting Israel’s Enemies

Former Israel MK of the Balad party, Said Nafa, met in Syria with PFLP-GC leader. Nafa was convicted of both illegally exiting to an enemy state & assisting others to do so as well.

The Nazareth District Court convicted former Balad Knesset Member Said Nafa of contact with a foreign agent, illegal exit to an enemy country and aiding other to exist to an enemy country.

Syrian-Palestinian terror group says units forming to fight for the Golan

Palestinian terror group, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) said that after nearly 40 years of quiet on the Syria-Israel border, it was now preparing for new (terrorist) operations .

A militant Palestinian group in Damascus said it is forming combat units to try to recapture Israeli-occupied territory, in particular the Golan Heights, after Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Hezbollah that they would support such operations.

Assad gave green light for Palestinian militants to attack Israel

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine official in Damascus says they received green light from regime to strike Israel from the Syrian-controlled part of Golan Heights.

 

 

 

A spokesman for a Palestinian militant group in Syria said Tuesday that it had received a nod from President Bashar Assad‘s regime to attack Israel following alleged back-to-back Israeli airstrikes over the weekend.

Area PFLP head survives assassination attempt

Pro-Assad Palestinian terrorist group calls on PA to arrest the unidentified gunmen who fired on gang’s Nablus chief.

A pro-Syrian Palestinian terrorist group claimed Tuesday that one of its leaders in the West Bank escaped an assassination attempt on Monday night.

PFLPIt said that unidentified gunmen opened fire at the car of Mohamed Jibril, a senior member of the group, in Nablus.It said that Jibril was not hurt in the attack.

The group, whose members have been fighting alongside Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces against the rebels over the past two years, called on the Palestinian Authority to capture the perpetrators and bring them to trial.

Palestinian refugees flood into Lebanon from Syria

Control of the Yarmouk refugee camp south of Damascus has pitted Palestinians fighting with rebels against Palestinians from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command loyal to Assad

Over 1,000 Palestinian refugees crossed into Lebanon in the past 24 hours.

Videos published on the Internet appear to show people streaming out of the Yarmouk refugee camp near Damascus on Monday, which Syrian rebels claim to have captured.

Reuters is unable to independently verify the video content, but one shows a steady stream of people carrying bundles and luggage as they walk down a street covered with debris.
