Arab Media REPORT: US ‘Peace Plan’ deemed unacceptable by the Palestinians

Saudi newspaper headquartered in London quoted the Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister complaining how the U.S. plan tilts toward Israel, how it’s unacceptable to the Palestinians since it divides Jerusalem, won’t allow Palestinian refugees ‘right of return’ nor will Israel dismantle Jewish settlement blocks.

Saudi Daily Columnist Publicizes Admiration of Israeli Justice System

According to a senior Saudi writer, Al-Harbash, “When a citizen sees one of the most senior figures [from his country] brought to jail, he can wave his finger at the world and say, ‘We have justice here!'” This gives Israel its status as an “honorable” nation, despite accusations of injustice from the Arab world.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas should accept Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s invitation and address Israel’s Knesset, a Saudi newspaper argued in it’s editorial on Monday.

The English-language Saudi Gazette said that Netanyahu’s invitation, issued during his speech to the UN General Assembly last week, was reminiscent of former prime minister Menachem Begin’s invitation to former Egyptian president Anwar Sadat, which eventually led to the 1978 peace treaty between Israel and Egypt.
