An overwhelming 110 members of the Jordanian House of Representatives signed a petition demanding a pardon for a Jordanian soldier who shot and killed seven Israeli schoolgirls in 1997.

Hevron Hills Residents Protest & say ‘Enough!’ to Road Terror

Open roads policy means deadly terrorism in the Hevron Hills’ roads.

Dozens of Israelis from the town of Negohot in the Hevron Hills blocked roads Thursday in protest of terrorism. Residents of Negohot and other Hevron area Israeli towns say that Israel’s open roads policy puts their lives at risk.

Three years ago Israel began opening highways in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) to Arabs living under the Palestinian Authority. Previously, PA traffic had run along parallel PA roads, while access to Israeli roads was restricted due to terrorism fears.

Knife Discarded by Soldier’s Attacker Gave Him Away

Arab who stabbed female soldier on Jerusalem Light Rail threw his knife out a bus window and was caught.

 

The Arab who stabbed an Israeli female soldier in Jerusalem two weeks ago threw his knife out a bus window as he was on his way to a hiding place after the attack. This led to his arrest, it now turns out.

The suspected terrorist is an 18-year-old resident of eastern Jerusalem. He was to be brought before the Magistrates’ Court on Jerusalem for remand Monday, and police said it would ask to keep him incarcerated until the end of legal proceedings against him. Continue Reading »

Soldier Wounded in Light Rail Stabbing Attack

In the first major terror attack reported on Jerusalem’s light rail, a female soldier was stabbed by an Arab, who fled the scene

An Israeli female soldier in her early 20s was stabbed while riding on Jerusalem’s light rail Thursday morning. The stabber was an Arab who ran away from the scene of the stabbing, witnesses said. The stabbing occurred as the train was traveling through the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood in northern Jerusalem. Service has been suspended on trains in the north of the city.
