The IDF went on high alert for a possible flare-up with neighboring Syria on Tuesday as US President Donald Trump announced he was withdrawing from the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran.

The IDF said that, after identifying “irregular activity” by Iranian forces in Syria, it instructed civic authorities on the Golan Heights to ready bomb shelters, deployed new defenses and mobilized some reservist forces. Continue Reading »

First Germany, now Dutch travel firm cancels its Israel trips

The cancellations in Holland have so far only affected only a few dozen passengers with flight tickets & vacation reservations.

Following its German sister company’s lead, the Dutch branch of Europe’s TUI travel giant has called off all tours of Israel due to the rocket fire there.

TUI Nederland, which is Holland’s largest travel group, on Tuesday announced the cancellation of its tours and flights to Eilat, Israel’s southern port city and holiday destination, following a similar move over the weekend by the much larger German branch, which is Germany’s largest travel group and the operator of the TUIfly airline.

Palestinian Terrorists from Gaza Sneak Into Sinai to Fight Egyptians

Muslim Brotherhood-linked terrorists from Gaza are infiltrating via the illegal smuggling tunnels into the Sinai so they can attack Egyptian army outposts.

As the death toll rises in clashes between Egypt’s army and pro-Morsi protesters, Muslim Brotherhood-linked Gaza terrorists are infiltrating the Sinai to attack Egyptian army outposts.

Although the army has sealed at least 50 tunnels in the past two weeks, hundreds remain open and active under the border between Egypt and Gaza.

A senior Egyptian official told the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper on Saturday that at least 150 Izz a-Din al-Qassam operatives – members of the Gaza-based Hamas military wing – were seen heading into Sinai via the tunnels. Continue Reading »
