At least three Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire during the fifth straight week of Gaza border protests on Friday, as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said “hundreds” were attempting to break through the security fence into Israel.

UN: IDF ignoring repeated warnings to end lethal force on Gaza border

Jordanian Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights condemns Israel for the IDF’s use of ‘live-fire’ against Gaza’s civilian protesters, and calls for the soldiers to be “held accountable.”

The UN rights chief on Friday urged Israeli forces to stop using force to prevent Arab rioters from charging Israel’s security fence, and demanded that Israeli troops who do use force to defend the border “be held accountable.”

Israel has no expectations of unbiased judgements from Jordanian Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
