And in an interview, the lead researcher went as far as positing that the breakthrough could open doors to the regeneration of human cells, sperm creation, gene therapy research, as well as genetic engineering and cross-species DNA melding.

Neo-Nazi’s appeal awards him extra year in French jail

The Colmar court of appeals sentenced Nicolas Lecureur, 24, to an additional year in prison Wednesday for desecrating Jewish graves.

A Frenchman who helped desecrate 90 Jewish and Muslim graves had his jail term extended by one year following his failed appeal for a lighter sentence.

The Colmar court of appeals sentenced Nicolas Lecureur, 24, to a year in prison Wednesday for his actions, which he committed in eastern France in 2010 with two accomplices, Jonathan Husser and Matthias Leyer, according to L’Alsace daily.

All three men began serving an 18-month jail term in June 2012, but Lecureur appealed the sentence, claiming to have new evidence that prove his innocence.

5 IDF Soldiers Wounded in Gaza; 4 Hamas Terrorists Killed

Five IDF soldiers were wounded near the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza on Thursday evening.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement that terrorists detonated an explosive device as IDF soldiers were working to blow up parts of the terror tunnel that was recently discovered by IDF soldiers, leading from Gaza into an Israeli kibbutz.

Firefight on Gaza border: 1 Terrorist killed, 1 terrorist injured

 

According to Palestinian sources from Gaza, mortars fired from Strip on IDF forces. Hamas terrorist killed & another injured from IDF tank fire.

Palestinian sources reported Thursday evening that mortars were fired from Gaza in response to the limited entry of IDF forces into the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave, near the security fence. According to the sources, an IDF anti-tank shell was fired toward an are located east of the city of Khan Younis in north Gaza.

The Palestinians further reported that during exchanges of fire between terrorists and IDF forces near the city of Abasan in south Gaza, a Palestinian terrorist was killed and another was wounded, apparently from IDF tank fire. Continue Reading »
