Israel: With Abbas’ PA in Cahoots With Hamas, it’s Absurdly Hypocritical Going to ICC

Emmanuel Nachshon from Israel Foreign Ministry’s calls the Palestinian decision to join the Int’l Criminal Court “political, cynical & hypocritical.”

“Palestine” has no right to join the International Criminal Court, because there is no Palestinian state in accordance with international law, Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nachshon said Wednesday.

“Hamas cannot conquer the Negev & Hezbollah cannot take the Galilee”

Despite the level of bravado from Iranian Generals or Hezbollah leaders, Israel’s enemies today are far weaker now than the armies of 1967, Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi opines.

By Tova Dvorin

The threat level Hezbollah poses against Israel has been overhyped, former IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. (res.) Gabi Ashkenazi stated Wednesday – despite a recent IDF simulation predicting some 1,500 rockets on Israeli citizens per day.

Watch: In successful test, David’s Sling shoots down incoming missile

Israel’s Defense Minister Ya’alon: This successful project will become operational in 2016

By YAAKOV LAPPIN

Following recent assessments on the significant rocket threat posed by Hezbollah to the Israeli home front, the Defense Ministry said Wednesday that it carried out a successful test of the David’s Sling anti-projectile system, which is designed to shoot down short to medium-range rockets and missiles.

During the trial, carried out this week in central Israel by the Defense Ministry and the Pentagon’s Missile Defense Agency, David’s Sling radar identified a mock Sparrow missile heading into its air space, and fired an interceptor that struck and destroyed the target. Continue Reading »

The televised broadcast in December of Abbas signing applications to join dozens of international institutions, including the ICC, prompted an angry response by Israel, which in January froze the transfer of millions of dollars in tax revenue that Israel had collected for the Palestinians. Top Iranian colonel in missile defense system says Teheran is upgrading warheads allowing Hezbollah pinpoint accuracy in attacking Israel.

By Ari Yashar

A senior Israeli security source revealed on Tuesday that Iran is smuggling rockets souped-up with advanced guided warheads to its terror proxy of Hezbollah in Lebanon, posing a direct threat to the Jewish state of Israel from right over its northern border.

Col. Aviram Hasson, a leader in the IDF’s top-level missile defenses, brought up the threat at the Israel Air and Missile Defense Conference held in Herzliya, an event hosted by the iHLS (Israel’s homeland security) defense website and the Israel Missile Defense Association.

Legal Analysis: Can the ICC rule Jewish settlements as war crimes?

A few Israeli legal experts and state advisors on int’l law present their opinions how the ICC could go after some settlements, if they accepted to hear the case.

By YONAH JEREMY BOB

One of the most speculative ideas going around as the PA’s accession to the International Criminal Court Rome Statute is due to go into effect on Wednesday is whether the ICC can go after the settlements as war crimes and how?

Legal considerations aside, the PA reportedly will delay pushing forward with the ICC as part of an informal deal with Israel to receive its custom tax revenue which Israel was withholding and general diplomatic pressure may prevent the Palestinians or the ICC from moving any real cases forward. Plan Approved For 2,200 New Arab Homes In East Jerusalem

Israel’s District Planning & Building Committee invites submission for building thousands of new homes in Arab East Jerusalem.

By Roi Yanovsky

The Interior Ministry’s District Planning and Building Committee on Monday invited the submission of a master plan for the construction of 2,200 new housing units for the Arab sector in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber. As part of the plan, several hundreds of housing units built illegally will also be retroactively approved.

The decision was approved despite strong objection from right-wing activists. Aryeh King, a member of the Jerusalem city council who is leading the charge against the plan, sent an urgent letter to Interior Minister Gilad Erdan on Sunday, claiming there are issues with the project, because in reality, according to him, many more units will be built than initially planned. Analytical Examination of P5+1 ‘Bad Deal’ With Apocalyptic Betrayals Ongoing & Future

Rather than a bold show of force, Obama seeks ‘deal at any price’, so we could be looking at an Islamic inspired apocalyptic World War III in the not-too-distant future.

By Noah Beck

President Obama’s far-reaching efforts to facilitate Iran’s march to nukes amount to nothing less than apocalyptic betrayals of U.S. voters and allies – betrayals that will make the world exponentially more dangerous.

Leader of the “Free World”….

Obama has ignored the countless reasons to doubt that the ayatollahs will make and keep a nuclear accord that prevents them from acquiring nuclear weapons. Here are just some of those reasons:

1) Iran’s president Hassan Rouhani boasted about his own role in exploiting diplomatic talks to advance Iran’s nuclear program,

2) Iran hid its nuclear facility in Qom until it was exposed in 2009 and continues to cover up its nuclear work in Parchin),

3) Iran recently tried – in a single transaction – to buy know-how for nukes and impunity for one of its biggest terrorist attacks. Continue Reading »
