Report: Russia allows IDF action in Syria against Iran

London-based, Saudi media quotes “Russian sources” as saying that Israel was given ‘green light’ to continue attacks on Iranian targets deep inside Syria, as long as Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad’s facilities were not hit.

Russia gave Israel a “green light” to attack Iranian bases inside Syria during conversations between senior leaders over the last two days, according to a Saudi newspaper report published Friday.

Saudi TV commentator calls for peace with Israel, embassy in Jerusalem

Highlighting common interests with Israel, Saudi commentator Abdulhameed AlHakeem says Saudi Arabia needs to “eradicate the culture of hatred for Jews in the Arab world,” by establishing full ‎diplomatic ties with Israel, leading to the opening of embassies in Riyadh and ‎Jerusalem.

A senior Saudi commentator has called for establishing “peace with ‎Israel” and ending the hatred ‎of Jews in the Arab world, the Middle ‎East Media Research Institute reported Thursday.‎

In a series of recent tweets, Abdulhameed AlHakeem, until recently ‎the director of the Middle East Center for Strategic and Legal ‎Studies in the Saudi port city of Jeddah, expressed support for Israel’s ‎right to exist, ‎ congratulated the Jewish state on its 70th ‎anniversary and acknowledged Israel’s historical link to Jerusalem. Israel’s Supreme Court: Facebook can be sued in Israel

Israel’s Supreme Court rejected Facebook’s request to dismiss lawsuit filed in Israel and determined that the stipulations in the user-license-agreement should be annulled, allowing lawsuits to be filed in Israel.

The Supreme Court ruled that Israeli claims filed against Facebook will be heard in Israeli courts, even though the user-license-agreement to join the site says suits can only be filed in a California court.

The court accepted the position of the Attorney General, according to which giving multinational corporations the ability to determine jurisdiction in cases involving customers represented a major imbalance of power, even if the user-agreement states that it must be so. Continue Reading »

IDF Video details ‘secret’ Gaza targets destroyed, including Hamas subs

Among the 60 some targets hit by Israel’s Air Force, the IDF video shows stockpiles of weapons and ammunitions, destroyed, as well as a naval base housing a small fleet of unmanned submarines. The reprisal led Hamas to end all rocket attacks on Israel.

Syrian NGO: Iran, Hezbollah troops preparing to withdraw from southern Syria

Just a day after Russian FM Sergei Lavrov said that Iranian and allied forces should withdraw from the Southern Syria “soon,” the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported [Thursday] that Iran & Hezbollah are preparing to withdraw their troops from Syrian areas close to the Israeli border.

Iran and Hezbollah are preparing to withdraw troops from a southern Syria region close to the Israeli border after Russian intervention, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Thursday.
