IDF tanks, jets target Hamas surveillance posts after IED balloon launches

Following further terror-balloons released with improvised explosive devices attached to explode in southern Israel, the IDF targeted Hamas surveillance positions.

IDF tanks and jets struck a number of Hamas surveillance assets in Gaza Strip, the Army’s spokesperson said Thursday.

The strikes were launched in retaliation for incendiary balloon launches from the restive Palestinian enclaves.

Earlier in the day, red alert sirens went off in a Gaza border community in Israel’s south, with the IDF saying that the alert had not been triggered by incoming projectiles. Continue Reading »

Israeli jets pound Hamas underground network following Gaza rocket fire

IAF jets fire on underground terrorist infrastructure in southern Gaza following a rocket fired on Israel from the terrorist enclave.

Israeli warplanes attacked an underground terrorist infrastructure in a military compound belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in southern Gaza overnight Wednesday, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

The air strike was carried out in response to the rocket fire from Gaza toward southern Israel earlier in the night.

A man was critically wounded Sunday when rockets fired by Gaza militants hit a factory in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon. An Israeli aircraft attacked a “terrorist cell” in Gaza which launched incendiary balloons toward Israel on Tuesday.

Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the strikes which were carried out in two rounds in response to the launching of incendiary balloons.

IAF attacks 100 Gaza targets over mistaken attack on Tel Aviv

Blaming the Thursday evening rocket attack entirely on Hamas, even after assessing that the launching of two Fajr-5 rockets at Israel’s center was a mistake, Israeli aircraft attacked over 100 targets in Gaza overnight, with no casualties reported by the Hamas government.

The IDF asses that the launching of two missiles at Israel’s center Thursday evening was a mistake.

The two missiles were launched from a Hamas installation at 21:07, while the Egyptian negotiating team was in the Gaza Strip discussing Hamas’ arrangement with Israel and Egypt.

IDF destroy Hamas military base after Gaza ‘balloon bomb’ explodes in Israel

The air attack by the Israel Air Force was carried out in response to the attack on an Israeli home not far from the Gaza border, by a ‘balloon bomb’ that exploded in the air, luckily, only damaging the home.

IDF spokesman said Saturday that Hamas forces in the Gaza Strip have launched a rocket at Israel overnight, none were hurt and no damages were reported. In response, the IDF attacked a Hamas post in the strip using an IAF helicopter.

Cleared for Publication: Officer From Elite IDF Unit Killed Deep Inside Gaza

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said in a statement, “During IDF special forces’ operational activity in Gaza, an exchange of fire broke out, during which an IDF officer was killed and an additional IDF officer was moderately injured.”

An IDF soldier from an elite unit was killed on Sunday night during an operation in the Gaza Strip.

Another soldier was injured and evacuated to the Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva. Their families have been notified.

IDF jets blow up Palestinian terrorists placing road-side-bomb on Israel’s border

The Palestinian terror-cell, which had three of its members blown up, was located in the southern Gaza Strip. A Palestinian report from Gaza acknowledged the three deaths were a result of a [retaliatory] air-strike facilitated by 37 rockets that were fired at Israel.

The IDF struck a terror cell trying to place an IED explosive device on the border fence between Israel and the Gaza Strip, the army said in a statement on Sunday.
