PLO plans to hold Biden to his campaign promise to reopen PLO office in Washington DC, used to plan & organize BDS and ‘Apartheid Week’ events on American university campuses, following the office’s closure in 2018 after refusing Trump’s demand to end ‘Pay-to-Slay’.

Senor Palestinian Liberation Organization official Dr. Nabil Shaath said that if Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins instead of US President Donald Trump in American elections November 3, the organization would request the reopening of its office in Washington, D.C., according to The Times of Israel Monday.

“We will immediately call for the reopening of the office, although it may take some time to implement it,” he said. He said the Palestinians will be “patient” while Biden solidifies his administration.

“Joe Biden,” Shaath said, “or anyone else who assumes power in the upcoming presidential elections will never be as bad as Donald Trump.”

Trump, Shaath said, “is leading America to destruction and works against the Palestinian cause.”

Biden said in May that he will seek to reopen the office, which was closed in 2018. Relations between the Palestinians and the US soured recently, with American funding cut to UNRWA, the UN agency in charge of Palestinian refugees.

Shaath told Palestinian news Dunya al-Watan that the PLO would also request funding to resume to UNRWA.

Last June, he warned of a “Third Intifada” if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s annexation plan of the West Bank went into effect, a plan that was shelved during the signing of a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates in August.
