Obama asks Netanyahu unfair question about peace: ‘If not now, when?’

In advance of President’s meeting with Netanyahu at White House, Obama hints that the White House will be unable to protect Israel from “int’l fallout” if peace process fails and settlement construction continues.

America’s ability to “manage the international fallout is going to be limited” if Israel does not strike a peace deal with the Palestinians and there is “continued aggressive settlement construction,” US President Barack Obama said in an interview published on the eve of his Monday meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

Given US Caught Spying On Closest Allies, Pollard’s Continued Imprisonment ‘Absurd’

Fmr. Assistant Secretary of Defense lashes out at White House after US caught spying on allies and Obama still omits Pollard from end of year clemency list.

By Ari Yashar, Arutz Sheva Staff

Former Assistant Secretary of Defense Dr. Lawrence Korb on Saturday night said that Jonathan Pollard’s ongoing imprisonment, in light of new revelations of US spying on Israeli leaders, is “absurd” and a “moral embarrassment.”

Korb’s comments come as US President Barack Obama omitted Pollard from the 13 pardons he issued last Thursday. In addition to the 13, 6 of whom were drug dealers, Obama commuted the sentence on 8 other criminals, all of them drug dealers. Continue Reading »

The threat came hours after a bipartisan group of senators filed a new Iran sanctions measure, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

The bill, sponsored by Sens. Mark Kirk (R., Ill.) and Robert Menendez (D., N.J.), would impose tougher sanctions on Tehran if it refuses to dismantle its contested nuclear program after the end of a six-month negotiating period. Continue Reading »

The Wackos in Washington

In regard to the Mideast, bad ideas never die, no matter how impractical, improbable or implausible.

Enough is enough. At some stage there must be a limit to the verbal garbage – I resist the strong temptation to employ a somewhat coarser epithet – that one can be subjected to before giving vent to pent-up exasperation and outrage.

Of late, this limit has been breached with increasing frequency – particularly when the matter of the “Palestinian issue” is broached. As

Ex-US & Israeli Intel Chiefs: Obama Let Iran become Nuclear

Both former American and Israeli intel chiefs agree: The P5+1 Geneva agreement has allowed Iran to become a nuclear power.

By Ryan Jones

Former Israeli and American intelligence chiefs this week said the deal US President Barack Obama and other Western leaders struck with Iran last week in Geneva had essentially allowed the Islamic Republic to become a “nuclear threshold state.”

More accurately, former Israeli military intelligence chief Amos Yadlin said that the West had failed for decades to adequately confront the Iranian nuclear threat, and so had finally given up and signed a bad deal.

“The fact that Iran is a nuclear threshold state does not derive from this agreement, but because the Iranians have developed capabilities for years, and no one can stop them,” Yadlin said at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv. Continue Reading »

Obama’s Agenda & the goal of the White House’s foreign policy

The administration’s goal is not to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power. The goal of Obama’s foreign policy is to weaken the State of Israel.

It isn’t surprising that the US and the other five powers signed a deal with Iran on Saturday. Over the past few weeks, US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry made it clear that they were committed to signing a deal with Iran as quickly as possible.
