Senior Israeli Minister: With Iran & Hezbollah’s help, Assad may win Syrian war

To win, Israel’s Strategic Affairs Minister Steinitz says: “It is in his (Assad’s) interest not to provoke us, so that we get involved.”

Steinitz’s assessment was quickly disavowed by others in PM Netanyahu’s coalition gov’t.

Israeli PM: Tehran Stepping Up Cyber-War against Israeli Targets

Iran now has Hizbullah and Hamas working with them to carry out cyber-warfare against Israeli targets.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Iran has been stepping up its cyber-attacks on Israel.

“In the last few months,” he said, “we have identified a meaningful surge in the scale of cyber-attacks by Iran, which are being carried out directly by Iran and its proxies, Hizbullah and Hamas.”

Foreign Ministry strikes against Defense Ministry – Where’s Bibi?

Sanctions of the Foreign Ministry strike include a refusal to issue diplomatic passports to ministers, cessation of cable communications between Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem & delegations around the world and a halt to arrangements for ministerial visits abroad.

 

 

Defense Ministry Director General Udi Shani sent an urgent letter Wednesday to Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he requested that he intercede to end the strike within the Foreign Ministry as soon as possible, in order to save Israel from possible harm to its security and diplomatic ties.

Netanyahu sends message to Abbas from the Knesset: ‘Give peace a chance.’

PM Netanyahu uses his Knesset address on the Arab Peace Initiative to send a message of Peace to the Palestinians and another to his restive coalition partners.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu used a Knesset debate on the Arab Peace Initiative to allay fears in some quarters that his three-month-old coalition is on the rocks – and to urge Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to resume negotiations with Israel.

Knesset approves law making ‘infiltrators’ transferring money abroad illegal

The new amendment to the ‘Law for the Prevention of Infiltration’ stipulates that foreigners can’t send property while they’re in Israel & limits the amount they can take with them once they exit Israel.

2nd amendment determines that said violations will be considered a crime.

 

 

The Knesset plenum on Monday approved two amendments to the Law for the Prevention of Infiltration barring illegal migrants from sending money or property out of Israel while they are in the country and limiting the amount they can take with them when they leave.

Jerusalem will act to prevent Russia’s S-300 missile from becoming operational

Netanyahu informs European foreign ministers that after Russian missiles get to Assad, Israel’s ‘entire airspace will become a no-fly zone’ & therefore it ‘cannot stand idly by.’

White House appoints Gen. John Allen the U.S. security envoy for peace talks

Former NATO forces commander in Afghanistan has been appointed to formulate U.S. security policy in Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.

 

Gen. John Allen has been appointed special U.S. envoy on security issues in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. He will not mediate between the parties; his work will almost exclusively involve contacts with Israel. Allen will deal with the U.S. position on Israeli security needs and the security arrangements that would accompany the establishment of a future Palestinian state.

Kerry Suggests Yet Another Freeze for Negotiations to Begin

United States Secretary of State John Kerry has reportedly proposed that Israel freeze construction east of the 1949 armistice line if it wants to hold talks with the Palestinian Authority.

Kerry met Thursday with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
