Shiite terror group Hezbollah planned to assassinate former prime minister Ehud Olmert, claimed a report in the London-based al-Arabi al-Jadeed newspaper, which quoted political elements “in close contact with Hezbollah”.

Argentinian prosecutor Alberto Nisman had drafted arrest warrants for Argentina’s president and foreign minister before he died under suspicious circumstances, it was revealed Tuesday.

In a 26-page document – found in the trash at his apartment and revealed by Argentina’s Clarin newspaper – Nisman had written a request for President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and her Foreign Minister Hector Timerman to be arrested on charges of covering up Iran’s involvement in the deadly 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish center in exchange for lucrative oil deals.

Nasrallah confirms Israeli Intel: Hezbollah, Iran open new front along Golan border

After Pressure from Northern Towns, IDF Reinvestigates Possibility of Hezbollah Attack Tunnels

 

IDF sources say drilling currently being carried out is in response to request by northern residents, adding that again, no tunnels have been located.

The IDF has begun drilling in search for possible tunnels near the norther community of Zir’it, which is situated close to the Lebanese border.

Military sources on Wednesday said the drilling was being carried out in response to a request by local residents to rule out the possibility of Hezbollah attacks in the area.


The sound of digging equipment underneath one’s home?

The sources have stressed that no tunnels have been located, and that it is not the first time that the army has launched underground searches in response to requests by local residents.

7 IDF soldiers Injured After IDF Vehicle Hit by Hezbollah Antitank Missile

Hezbollah fires Mortar shells at IDF outposts and antitank missile hits an IDF vehicle in the Golan, in escalation.
• There are casualties and the IDF artillery is returning fire.

An antitank missile has been fired at an IDF vehicle from the Har Dov area (Shebaa Farms) in a Hezbollah ambush Wednesday morning, and there are reportedly seven casualties, who are receiving treatment.

Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for the attack, through journalist Rassan Ben Jiddo, who is close to the terrorist militia.

ZAKA emergency services initially said that three people were hurt.

The IDF spokesman said that an antitank missile was fired at an IDF vehicle that was moving along the border.

IDF Bolsters Borders with Lebanon & Syria Against Potential Hezbollah Attacks

 

The IDF is being ultra-cautious since the air strike on Sunday that killed 6 Hezbollah & 6 Iranian Revolutionary Guards senior commanders near Quneitra, in the Syrian Golan Heights.

IDF Deploys Iron Dome in Northern Israel to Neutralize Hezbollah & Iranian Threats

 

Sky News Arabic reports of Israeli anti-missile system deployment in light of possible retaliation for purported IAF strike that killed 6 Hezbollah members & 6 Iranian soldiers.

In the aftermath of an alleged Israeli strike Sunday on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights, the IDF reportedly deployed a number of Iron Dome air defense batteries to the North on Monday evening, according to foreign media.

Alberto Nisman, 51, the state prosecutor investigating the 1994 attack that killed 85 people – Argentina’s worst ever bombing – said last Wednesday that Fernandez had opened a secret back channel to a group of Iranians suspected of planting the bomb.

An Israeli strike on Syria that killed six members of the Iranian-proxy Hezbollah terrorist organization also killed six Iranian solders and commanders, including an Iranian general.

“The Israeli strike killed six Iranian soldiers, including commanders, as well as the six members of Hezbollah. They were all in a convoy of three cars,” a source close to the Shia Islamist group told AFP on condition of anonymity.

Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon refused to say anything Sunday evening about the reported IAF strike in the Syrian Golan that killed Jihad Mughniyeh, a senior Hezbollah man whose father, Imad Mughniyeh, was also assassinated by Israel.

However, Yaalon did respond to the reports from Hezbollah about the incident, and said that they contradicted Hezbollah’s own official claims, made in recent years, that they do not operate in the Golan.
