Israel & India: 2 Great Democracies that Should Widen their Strategic Ties

India-Israel ties have been deepening for many years now, but there are still many more  common endeavors the 2 countries could be working on together.

At first glance, Hindu-majority India, with approximately 1.2 billion people and an entire subcontinent, would seem to have little in common with Jewish-majority Israel, which has only about eight million people living on territory that’s just roughly 15 times the size of India’s capital city. While full diplomatic relations were established between Jerusalem and New Delhi only in 1992, the two countries actually have much in common.

A Jerusalem man from the  Neturei Karta faction traveled to Berlin in 2011, offered the staff at the Iranian embassy to provide intel about Israel & even expressed his willingness ‘to murder a Zionist.

Iranian family buy Israeli passports to emigrate

 

 

7 family members detained in Vancouver after amusing faults in Israeli passports reveal they are actually Iranians carrying fake papers.

An Iranian family, wishing to immigrate to Canada with no visas, bought stolen Israeli passports in the black market and added false information. The Canadian airport uncovered the fraud and quickly arrested the seven suspects.

Many expected Hamas to suffer as a result of the recent ouster of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood, which is the parent organization of Hamas.

At least 32 Hamas fighters that entered Sinai through underground smuggling tunnels and joined the cells were among those arrested, according to the report.

Turkmenistan Accepts 1st Ever Israeli Ambassador

The Central Asian state of Turkmenistan, which shares a 1,000 kilometer border with Iran, has accepted the credentials of the first ever Israeli ambassador to the country, state media said Wednesday.

President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov received the ambassadorial credentials of senior Israeli diplomat Shemi Tzur, the government newspaper Neutral Turkmenistan said, according to the AFP news agency.

The paper said that Tzur presented Berdymukhamedov with a greeting from President Shimon Peres who expressed interest in establishing a full dialogue with the overwhelmingly Muslim but strongly secular desert nation. Continue Reading »

Iran proposes front against Israel & sending 4000 troops to Syria for Assad

 

Report comes a just day after Egyptian president Morsi calls for Hezbollah to leave Syria immediately, & 2 days after UN Human Rights Council condemns all use of foreign fighters in Syrian civil war.

 

Iran has reportedly decided to send 4,000 troops from its Revolutionary Guard to Syria to aid President Bashar Assad’s forces, The Independent reported on Sunday.

According to PM Netanyahu, Iran is seeking an escalation in the area by ordering Syria to provide Hezbollah with advanced weapons.

Netanyahu affirms that Israel will do all in its power to stop this transfer of weapons.

Iran sets up space tracking center to monitor objects in orbit

Iran’s official IRNA news agency reported that the Defense Minister said the space-center was for Iran’s space-related security but that Tehran would share the acquired data with other countries.

Iran said Sunday that it set up its first space tracking center to monitor objects passing in orbit overhead.

Israeli PM: Tehran Stepping Up Cyber-War against Israeli Targets

Iran now has Hizbullah and Hamas working with them to carry out cyber-warfare against Israeli targets.

Baghdad warns Israel not to use its airspace to attack Iran

Iraqi minister says the gov’t has informed Israel that “if they violate Iraqi airspace, they will have to bear the consequences”.

Washington has assured Baghdad that Israel won’t use airspace to attack nuclear facilities.

Baghdad has warned Israel against violating its airspace in order to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, Hussein al-Shahristani, Iraq’s deputy prime minister responsible for energy affairs told AFP on Monday.

Shahrishtani said that the US had already assured Iraqi officials that it would not use Iraqi airspace in order to attack Iran.

“The (Americans) have assured us that they will never violate Iraqi airspace or Iraqi sovereignty by using our airspace to attack any of our neighbors,” Shahristani told AFP.

Argentinian prosecutor alleges Tehran assembled South American terrorist network
