Nazareth Billboard Warns Local Christians Against ‘Slandering’ Allah

 

Now that Christians in Nazareth have taken a bolder stand for their faith & support of the Jewish State, local Muslims flex muscles by seeking to impose ‘superiority’ of their god.

As Christians of every stripe in Jesus’ hometown of Nazareth begin to again take a real stand for their faith, local Muslims are warning them not to overstep the boundaries of their traditional place in the Middle East (hint: they must remain dhimmis, or second-class).

Christians from Nazareth Launch Tourism Effort & New Website

   

Pro-Israel Christians from Nazareth seeking to construct Giant Jesus statue to attract tourists & support

Christians from Nazareth, many of them belonging to the same group that encourages young “Arab” Christians to join the Israeli army, have launched a new website and effort to draw tourism to their city.

The name of the movement is Deglei Habrith (Flags of the Covenant), and its logo features two intertwined flags bearing the Cross and the Star of David.

Among the group’s stated goals is the construction of a large statue of Jesus at Mount Precipice (think Rio de Janeiro), the site where Luke 4:29–30 records a mob attempting to shove Jesus off a cliff. Continue Reading »

More & More Christians Serving In the IDF & Israel Police: A Growing Community

 

Today, as people around the world celebrate Christmas, Christian soldiers serving in the IDF are off duty and at home with their families for the holiday. The growing community of Christian IDF soldiers recently gathered for a special forum to recognize their contribution to the State of Israel.

Number of Christian conscripts rose in 2013 for the IDF

84 Israeli Christians have volunteered for the IDF since June, representing a noticeable spike in the recruitment rate, which normally average about 50 new annual recruits in past years.

 

The IDF has observed a rise in the number of Christian-Arab Israelis enlisting in the IDF this year.

Elinor Joseph, was born 1991 into a Christian family from the Arab village of Jish, is the first Arab woman ever to serve in a combat role in the I.D.F.

Many of Israel’s Christians feel that their heritage, culture and even history, has been hijacked by the area’s Muslim Arabs, while they feel a much stronger link to Israel’s Jews.
