Palestinians Manipulate the Press to Play the Victim Again

Though Israelis are portrayed in the int’l media as the bullies of the Middle East, the kidnapping & ongoing rocket attacks into southern Israel from Gaza demonstrate that it is Israel that is under siege from its hostile Arab neighbors, not Gaza or the West Bank.

By: Jonathan S. Tobin

More than one week into the search for the three Israeli teenagers who were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists, the Palestinians have gone beyond mocking the boys and their families on social media with their three-fingered salute taunt. They are now attempting to use the Israel Defense Forces’ search operation as an excuse to turn the tables on the Jewish state. Continue Reading »

Amnesty Int’l investigator admits that Palestinian “eyewitnesses” often fabricate stories

In the territories, the lies about Israel are repeated so often that the witnesses will often tell reporters what they expect to hear rather than what happened; it is part of their culture to ensure that Israel is always blamed no matter what.

Donatella Rovera, an Amnesty field investigator, wrote an interesting article about the challenges of fact finding in war situations.

One of her main points is that eyewitnesses are often unreliable. For example:

In Gaza, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, and other places I interviewed civilians who described what they thought were artillery or bomb strikes being launched by far away government forces and striking near their homes – whereas in reality the loud bangs and tremors were caused by mortars or rockets being launched by opposition fighters from their positions nearby.

PLO condemns Australia for declaring E. Jerusalem not ‘occupied’

PLO letter penned by senior Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat, objects to Australia’s decision, quoting UN resolutions that are not legally binding & using the same erroneous popular political Arab rhetoric about East Jerusalem and construction of Jewish towns.

The Palestinian Authority on Thursday condemned Australia’s policy shift to stop referring to East Jerusalem as “occupied” by Israel, and warned that it is currently weighing its response.

PA art exhibit for Papal visit presents Jesus as Palestinian

Official PA presidential committee requested the exhibit. As seen by a few examples, the exhibit shows parts of classical paintings of biblical scenes merged with photos of Palestinians.

By Itamar Marcus & Nan Jacques Zilberdik

For Pope Francis’ visit to Israel and the Palestinian Authority next week, the PA has commissioned an art exhibit that includes works of art portraying Palestinians as Jesus.

The exhibit consists of visual displays merging classical paintings of biblical scenes with photos of Palestinians and have been “designed by the Palestinian Museum at the request of the Presidential Higher Committee for Church Affairs.” [Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, May 20, 2014]

As Palestinian Media Watch has documented, the PA has misrepresented Jesus for years, claiming he was not a Judean as in Christian tradition, but rather a “Palestinian,” thereby claiming a Palestinian history dating back to the time of Jesus. Continue Reading »

Proof – AGAIN: In 1695 Palestine showed no local Arab ‘Palestinian’ nationality

A tour & census of Palestine in the year 1695 showed no records or evidence of Arabian names or ‘Palestinian’ nationality.

By

There was no Palestinian nationality before the 1960s, when it was invented in order to reposition what was then universally known as the Arab/Israeli conflict. Up to the invention of “Palestinians,” the Israelis were the tiny, besieged people amidst a huge number of hostile Arabs; after that invention, the “Palestinians” themselves became the tiny, besieged people against the big, bad Israelis.

PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein said this in 1977:

The Palestinian people does not exist.

Top Palestinian negotiator the top propagandist, master of fiction & doublespeak

PA negotiator Erekat, told a diplomatic gathering that his tribe had been residents of Jericho thousands of years before the arrival of Joshua Ben Nun.

The Palestinian leadership relies on the thirst of the int’l mainstream media to take seriously any wild, baseless Palestinian distortion when criticizing Israel and to buy into any artificial claim uttered by the Palestinian leadership.

By Israel Today Staff

There are many competing claims at play in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but the simple question of who was here first, as childish as it might sound, remains central to the contest.

That is precisely why, in addition to leveling all sorts of other accusations at Israel, the Palestinian Authority is engaged in an effort to invent a new historical narrative that puts the Palestinians in the land long before the Hebrews ever arrived from Egypt. Continue Reading »

The Truth That Disproves the Palestinian Water Libels

Professional investigation shows that reason for lower water availability for the Palestinian Arabs is purposefully wasteful policies.

By Israel Today Staff

Earlier this month, the president of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, sparked a political and media brouhaha when, from the Knesset podium, he suggested that Israel severely limits the Palestinians’ access to clean water.

Israelis from across the political spectrum were incredulous that Schulz would repeat blatant Palestinian propaganda without bothering to check the facts, which he admitted to not doing prior to addressing the Israeli lawmakers.

The facts, as they relate to this issue, are readily available to anyone interested in the truth. Continue Reading »

Erekat Is Wrong: A Jewish Presence in Israel Predates All Existing Peoples

While there is no evidence to back Saeb Erekat’s claims of prior Palestinian presence in the land, Palestinian revisionists continue their preaching when nearly everything, even Muslim sources, point to a Jewish connection.

By JCPA

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat claimed at the Munich Security Conference on Jan. 31 that the Palestinians cannot accept Israel as the Jewish state because they lived in the region long before the Jews.

Hamas Declares: ‘Israel Has 8 Years Left’

In Gaza, Hamas’ Interior Minister boasts Palestinian Arabs will ‘liberate’ Israel by 2022.

By Dalit Halevy, Tova Dvorin

Israel will be gone in eight years, according to one Hamas official.

Fathi Hamad, Hamas’s Interior Minister, claimed in a speech honoring the anniversary of Operation Cast Lead that “Palestine” would replace the Jewish State by 2022.

Hamad noted in his speech that the Palestinian Arabs, according to Islamic prophecies, will enter the Al Aqsa Mosque “in jubilation and victory like they entered it the first time“. He said that Israel has failed in previous wars waged against the Palestinians, while the Palestinians are progressing nationally towards the stage where they are capable of conquering Jerusalem. Brits Suckered by Anti-Israel Antics at St. James’s Church

Having successfully tormented & then hounded most of Bethlehem’s Christians into leaving – the Palestinian Muslims’ propaganda campaign is succeeding at blaming Israel abroad.

By Gil Ronen

Palestinian Authority Muslims, who have been fully in charge of life in Bethlehem since the 1993 Oslo Accords were implemented, have successfully hounded most of the city’s Christians into leaving the city – but a London exhibition shows that their overseas propaganda in the West still manages to blame Israel for the Christians’ alleged suffering from Jewish “occupation.”
