Israel bureau chief for Reuters criticized the new US Ambassador on Twitter for announcing his arrival in Israel to begin working on May 15th, or as biased reporter pointed out, ‘Nakba Day’.

Newly-appointed US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman is set to arrive in Israel next Monday, beginning his service in the Jewish state a week ahead of President Trump’s first visit to Israel since taking office in January.

On Tuesday, a Twitter account in Friedman’s name confirmed that he would be heading to Israel on May 15th.

Reuters News Headline Falsely Accuses Israel of Threatening Lebanese Civilians

Reuters’ classic anti-Israel bias in it’s news is adequately demonstrated in this purposely misleading and erroneous headline.

A Reuters article about an Israeli military general’s warning to Hezbollah over its establishment of thousands of terrorist bases within residential buildings was published under the following erroneous headline:

In fact, the article makes clear that Israel did not threaten any Lebanese civilians. Rather, Israel’s Air Force chief, Major General Amir Eshel called out Hezbollah for establishing thousands of terrorist bases within residential buildings and warned that the Israeli army would not be deterred from retaliating for attacks launched from within these quarters. Reuters claim IDF soldiers beat-up their photographers in Hebron

Reuters News agency claims 2 of its cameramen were assaulted by IDF troops who accused them of working for B’Tselem

The Reuters news agency is claiming that IDF soldiers punched two of its cameramen and forced them to strip in the street, before letting off a tear gas canister in front of them. One of the photographers reportedly required hospital treatment.

“The regional brigade commander was ordered to open an investigation,” Israeli Defense Forces spokeswoman Avital Leibovich said in an email.
