Israel warns Assad: If you or your proxies attack us, we’ll end your reign

 

Israeli Official reports to the New York Times that if Hezbollah or Assad’s forces attack Israel,  “he will risk forfeiting his regime, for Israel will retaliate.”

 

“If Syrian President Assad reacts by attacking Israel…he will risk forfeiting his regime,” a senior Israeli official told the New York Times on Wednesday.

The Times’ White House correspondent Mark Landler wrote that the official contacted the newspaper on his own initiative.

Turkish F-16 jet goes down, pilot ejects near Syrian border

Turkey’s military said it lost contact with the pilot of a F-16 jet over a mountainous area about 30 miles from the Syrian border in what is thought to be an accident.

Turkey’s military says it has lost contact with a fighter plane in southern Turkey, in what is likely an accident, Turkey’s NTV television cited military sources as saying Monday.

Syrian-Palestinian terror group says units forming to fight for the Golan

Palestinian terror group, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC) said that after nearly 40 years of quiet on the Syria-Israel border, it was now preparing for new (terrorist) operations .

A militant Palestinian group in Damascus said it is forming combat units to try to recapture Israeli-occupied territory, in particular the Golan Heights, after Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Hezbollah that they would support such operations.

Lebanese Report: Assad Will ‘Give Hizbullah Everything’

A Lebanese newspaper reports Assad as saying Syria will “give Hezbollah everything” in recognition of its support & will follow its model of “resistance” against Israel for the sake of Syria & future generations.

Syria will “give Hizbullah everything” in recognition of its support and will follow the terrorist group’s model of “resistance” against Israel, a Lebanese newspaper on Thursday quoted President Bashar al-Assad as saying.

Syria Reports: Dozens of Elite Troops Killed in IAF Strike

The Israel Air Force (IAF) struck several critical military facilities in Syria, killing dozens of elite troops stationed near the presidential palace, a high-ranking Syrian military official said in an interview with the New York Times.

Israel has been working toward a cooperative agreement in compliance with Turkey and three Arab states to implement an allied system of detection technologies to defend against Iranian ballistic projectiles, British newspaper The Sunday Times reported.

The initiative, termed “4+1”, reportedly proposes joint efforts to be taken by Israel along with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan to share access to radar and anti-missile technologies, according to the Times.

Israel’s overnight air-strike hit Iranian missile shipment to Hezbollah

Western intelligence sources confirmed on Sunday morning that both the overnight strike and Friday’s alleged attack on Syria targeted an Iranian missile shipment intended for Hezbollah.

China invites Netanyahu & Abbas to Beijing talks

Chinese Foreign Ministry official says that solving Palestinian issue would promote peace & stability for the entire world.

The Chinese government announced on Friday that it would arrange a meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas next week, when both leaders simultaneously visit the country, should the leaders be willing to do so.

Nasrallah warns Sunni fighters of danger if Shiite shrine is destroyed in Lebanon

 

Hezbollah leader warned Sunni rebels & al-Qaida that Iranian fighters would enter to rescue Assad’s embattled regime if needed.

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said Tuesday that Syrian rebels will not be able to defeat President Bashar Assad’s regime militarily, strongly suggesting that Syria’s “real friends” including his Iranian-backed militant group would intervene on the government’s side if the need arises.

US official: Plans for possible military action in Syria are being evaluated

Senior White House official tells reporters that the Pentagon is looking into plans to strike Syrian military installations, though a ground offensive looks unlikely.

 

The U.S. in stepping up planning for military intervention in Syria, CNN reported on Monday. The report quoted a senior administration official as saying that “there is intensified planning in the works as more precise information comes in on the Syrian regime’s potential use of chemical weapons and the body of evidence grows.”

Wounded Syrian Taken to Israeli Hospital

A Syrian man who was wounded by shrapnel & gunfire from the continuing civil war was transferred to the Ziv Hospital in Tzfat (Safad).

A Syrian man who was wounded in the ongoing civil war in his country was transferred on Monday evening to the Ziv Hospital in Tzfat, after IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz authorized the move.

The man, who suffered moderate wounds to his waist, was taken to the hospital’s trauma unit for initial treatment. He is expected to undergo surgery overnight Monday.

Rebel groups warn Hezbollah to leave Syria

Syrian National Coalition urges the Lebanese gov’t to ‘adopt the necessary measures to stop the aggression’ of their Shi’ite terrorist group in Syria.

The Syrian opposition called on Hezbollah to withdraw its fighters from the country immediately, as activists said regime troops supported by pro-government gunmen linked to the Lebanese Shiite militant group battled rebels Sunday for control of a string of villages near the Lebanon-Syria border.
