Palestinian killed after throwing IED at IDF soldiers in Qalandiya

IDF forces responded by return-fire after encountering scores of Palestinians shooting & throwing improvised explosive devices at them  when unit entered refugee camp to arrest wanted suspect.

IDF forces killed a Palestinian Tuesday morning and lightly wounded another during a violent confrontation in the Qalandiya refugee camp north of Jerusalem.

The army reported that scores of Palestinians approached the soldiers, shooting towards them and throwing stones and improvised explosive devices.

Security thwart likely stabbing attack: Female Palestinian with knife arrested in Hebron

Police say initial investigations conclude that the 17 yr-old girl had planned to stab Jewish security personnel at Israel’s holy site.

Security forces arrested a 17-year-old Palestinian girl found to have a knife in her possession on Friday at the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron.

The knife was revealed during routine security checks. Police said initial investigations indicated that she had planned to stab security personnel.

Indian official sources said that proof of the planned attacks was given during the interrogation of Sakir Hussain, a Sri Lankan national who was arrested on April 29 in Southeast Asia when investigators informed an Indian security agency of his possible connection to planned attacks in India. Elite IDF unit captures wanted Hamas terrorist in West Bank

 

Ayoub al-Qawasmi, imprisoned by the Palestinian Authority and just released 2 weeks ago, was planning to rebuild Hamas’ terror infrastructure in the West Bank.

An IDF unit working undercover in Hebron arrested Ayoub al-Qawasmi on Tuesday evening, one of the commanders of Hamas’ military branch in the West Bank and one of Israel’s most wanted suspects.

Qawasmi, 50, is suspected of being involved in terrorist attacks against Israelis during the Second Intifada and has recently sought to renew Hamas’ terror infrastructure in the West Bank.

Israel Border Policewoman Prevents Stabbing – Apprehends Assailant

Having been arrested for attempted stabbing in the past, an Arab woman tried to enter the Cave of Machpela with 3 knives, intending once again to stab a policeman.

A woman serving in the Border Police thwarted a planned stabbing attack by a female Arab terrorist in Hevron Monday morning.

The terrorist, who is a resident of Hevron and in her 20s, arrived at one of the entrances to the Cave of Machpela around 11:00 a.m.. She had come from the casbah area.

Israel’s Anti-Terror Campaign Nets Private Weapons Caché

The latest IDF anti-terror arrest in the Hevron region unveiled a sizable weapons & munitions storehouse in someone’s home.

The IDF has been stepping up its fight against Hamas in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) in wake of the recent open battle with Hamas in Gaza. Earlier this week troops went to arrest a terror suspect in Hevron and ended up finding a weapons warehouse in a private home.
