In a diplomatic blitzkrieg, the Obama Administration has set this coming Monday at 9 a.m. EST for a vote at the UN Security Council (UNSC) in New York on the adoption of the Iran nuclear deal, which was announced by the world’s leading powers and the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vienna on Tuesday.

India Balks at Palestinian Threats When Not Following Blindly Against Israel

Jerusalem initiates diplomatic steps against anti-Israel Arab majority at UNHRC

UNGA likely to accept biased report on Gaza war, sparking Israeli diplomatic mission to reduce the power of Arab majority voting bloc inside the UN’s human rights council.

A new diplomatic front has been launched in Israel, meant to do away with the automatic Arab majority in the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), in light of an impending council vote regarding whether or not to adopt as official the findings of a UN report released Monday on 2014’s Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry published a harsh response to the UN Human Rights Council’s report on 2014’s Operation Protective Edge on Monday, calling the UNHRC “a notoriously biased institution” that “has a singular obsession with Israel.”

At the UN’s ‘Theater of the Absurd’: Hamas-linked group granted NGO status

Israel’s mission accuses the United Nations of accepting the nefarious PRC organization, describing it as the ‘organizational & a coordinating wing of Hamas in Europe’.

Israel on Monday accused the United Nations of granting “UN non-governmental organization status” to an association linked to militant Palestinian group Hamas that it said promotes “anti-Israel propaganda in Europe.”

Israel’s UN mission issued a statement condemning the decision, by the 19-member UN Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations, to approve the application of the Palestinian Return Center (PRC), an organization based in Britain.

Britain warns UN: US ignoring ‘Iran’s active nuclear procurement network’

UN suggests US administration silence on Iranian violations is to not undermine ongoing talks.

Britain has informed a United Nations sanctions panel of an active Iranian nuclear procurement network linked to two blacklisted firms, according to a confidential report by the panel seen by Reuters.

100 Delegates, including from Muslim world to hold UN nuclear conference in Israel

About 100 international representatives will convene in Israel next week for the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty Organization conference.

 

Israel will be host to an important and highly-prestigious UN-sponsored international conference on the ban of nuclear tests next week, drawing representatives from Arab and Muslim countries which do not currently have diplomatic relations with Israel. Jordanian and Egyptian delegates will also attend the conference.

UN Pressures Donors Countries to Make Good on Aid Pledged to Gaza

The failure by world donors to deliver billions of dollars of aid to rebuild Gaza is jeopardizing efforts to avoid a new flareup in the Palestinian territory, a senior United Nations official warned Wednesday.

UN political affairs chief Jeffrey Feltman told the Security Council that donors who had promised $5.4 billion to the Palestinians at the Cairo conference four months ago “have yet to fulfill the vast majority of their pledges,” according to AFP.

NGO Monitor: Time the UN Should Investigate its Own Incompetence and Bias

With United Nation’s constant revelations of ‘incompetence & bias’ on display in the world’s media, Israelis demand the world body take a good look in the mirror.

Following the revelation that the appointed head of the UN commission of inquiring into last summer’s Gaza war had previous associations with the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Jerusalem-based research institute NGO Monitor suggested that the world body investigate its own ineptitude and overriding prejudice against the Jewish state.

“The United Nations should suspend its investigation into Israel and immediately investigate the disturbing revelations of its own incompetence and bias,” read a press release by NGO Monitor.
