Facebook wins appeal in US court when it facilitated Hamas incitement

Terror victims sought $3 billion in damages from facebook for permitting Hamas to post encouragement and then celebrated terrorist attacks against Jews in Israel, but a federal court said the outdated, but standing 1996 law regulating internet content shields the social media giant from civil liability.

NEW YORK – Facebook Inc on Wednesday defeated an appeal by American victims of Hamas attacks in Israel, who sought to hold the company liable for providing the group a social media platform to further its terroristic goals.

U.S. Court of Appeals revives Palestinians’ $1 billion genocide lawsuit

The more than 30 pro-Israel defendants liable for alleged war crimes, conspiracy to expel non-Jews from the disputed territories and genocide include the billionaires Sheldon Adelson & Larry Ellison, Bank Leumi BM & Bank Hapoalim BM, construction & support companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co & Volvo AB, 13 nonprofits, and the United States government.

American Appeals Court refuse terror suit against Palestinian Authority

 

The U.S Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled that the American families of victims at Joseph’s Tomb attack, won’t be allowed to sue Palestinian Authority for compensation.

A federal appeals court in the United States ruled on Friday that the families of Jewish worshippers who were killed or wounded during a 2011 attack in Joseph’s Tomb will not be allowed to sue the Palestinian Authority (PA) for damages in U.S. courts.

The decision upheld a lower court ruling to dismiss the case, according to The Associated Press.

The attack, which was carried out by a PA security guard, killed Israeli citizen Ben-Yosef Livnat, nephew of former Likud Minister Limor Livnat. Continue Reading »
