Openly Bias U.S. State Dep’t webpage erases Israel, delegitimizing Jewish State

 

In another blatant demonstration of St. Dept. delegitimization of Israel, US visa application website lists all other countries, including Iran, but avoids mentioning the Jewish State by name.

While the US State Department’s refusal to recognize Jerusalem as being part of the State of Israel is well-known and was even the subject of a US Supreme Court case, it seems that the official US visa information and appointment services website has erased Israel completely.

US State Dept: Travel warning for ‘occupied’ Golan Heights

 

In response to the Iranian backed rocket attack from Syria on Thursday, U.S. State Department warns American citizens about travel to Northern Israel, including the “occupied” Golan Heights, that Israel annexed in 1981.

Following Thursday’s rocket fire from Syria, the U.S. State Department issued a travel warning for several parts of northern Israel, including what it called the “occupied” Golan Heights.

Israel took control of the Golan Heights from Syria during the Six-Day War in 1967. Israel annexed the Golan Heights in 1981, a move not recognized internationally.

US condemns ICC over ‘tragically ironic’ war crimes probe of Israel

The U.S. State Dept ‘strongly disagrees’ with ICC prosecutor’s decision, saying it is a “tragic irony” that Israel, which has suffered under thousands of Palestinian rockets fired at its civilian towns & cities, is now itself being scrutinized by the Int’l Criminal Court.

The US State Department late on Friday condemned the International Criminal Court’s decision to open a preliminary probe into possible war crimes in Palestinian territories, calling it a “tragic irony.”

“We strongly disagree with the ICC Prosecutor’s action today. As we have said repeatedly, we do not believe that Palestine is a state and therefore we do not believe that it is eligible to join the ICC,” State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke said in a statement.

US decides to fund Fatah-Hamas terrorists

 

State Department spokeswoman says “based on what we know” President Obama’s administration intended to continue working with the Fatah-Hamas unity gov’t.

WASHINGTON – The US State Department announced Monday night that it planned to continue disbursing aid to Palestinians, after President Mahmoud Abbas swore in a new unity government earlier in the day which incorporated Hamas, a designated terrorist organization.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said that “based on what we know” President Barak Obama’s administration intended to continue working with the Fatah-Hamas unity government.

US Rejection of Israeli Visa Requests at All-Time High

US State Department figures from 2013 reveal a sharp 80% rise over the course of the year in Israeli visa requests that were rejected, continuing a trend of Israeli visa rejections over several years.

The figures, which were published Monday morning in Yediot Aharonot, show that last year about 125,000 Israelis requested tourist visas to the US, with 9.7% of them being refused. The previous year in 2012, that figure was at 5.4%. Continue Reading »

A statement issued Wednesday by the State Department said Usamah Amin al-Shihabi was an associate of Fatah al-Islam, “a Lebanese-based militant group formed in 2006, whose ultimate goal is the institution of Islamist sharia law in the Palestinian refugee camps and the destruction of Israel”.
