As Israeli PM Bennett visits Biden in Washington, IDF readies for war with Iran

Israel’s Chief of Staff tells reporters that the approved defense budget increase for the IDF will cover all operational plans for military action on Iran’s nuclear facilities, along with a dedicated intel unit assigned to the mission.

The Israeli military was accelerating plans for a possible strike on Iran, IDF Chief of staff Aviv Kochavi said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

Israel: IDF will destroy Lebanese infrastructure if Hezbollah attacks

IDF goes on high-alert after Israel’s Defense Minister orders his generals to prepare plans that ‘neutralize’ Lebanese infrastructure in a quick-response retaliatory strike should Hezbollah, now a major party in Lebanon’s government, fulfill its vow to attack Israel.

Defense Minister Benny Gantz (Blue and White) on Thursday ordered the IDF to prepare a response targeting Lebanon, in case Hezbollah harms IDF soldiers or Israeli citizens, Israel Hayom reported.

According to the report, the IDF was ordered to destroy Lebanon’s infrastructure in the case of a Hezbollah attack on Israel.

IDF exercise simulates combat readiness on Israel’s Syria, Lebanon borders

 

The 2-week IDF combat drill combined ground, air, and naval forces that was aimed at simulating simultaneous military incursions on its borders with Lebanon & Syria.
• General of Northern Command said, Exercise showed IDF is more than able to “implement operational plans in all arenas.”

‘170,000 rockets threaten Israel’ reports IDF intel chief

 

IDF’s Intelligence Chief Aviv Kochavi reports that although the number of missiles aimed at Israel have decreased, their lethality & accuracy has been dramatically improved.

Sometimes, less is more: Military Intelligence Chief Brigadier General Aviv Kochavi said Wednesday that despite a drop in the number of missiles and rockets threatening Israel, their level of precision has drastically risen.
