IDF Exposes 6th Hezbollah attack-tunnel, notifies UNIFIL of another 1701 violation

With the discovery of the sixth Hezbollah cross-border attack tunnel that penetrated dozens of meters into Israeli territory, the IDF announced Sunday the end of Operation Northern Shield.
– Special IDF team will destroy the tunnel in the upcoming days.

The IDF announced the end of Operation Northern Shield on Sunday after it discovered a sixth cross-border attack tunnel belonging to Hezbollah in northern Israel.

UNIFIL confirms 4th of 5 Hezbollah tunnels violating UN resolution 1701

Having not acknowledged that all 5 tunnels Hezbollah dug into Israel violates the Jewish State’s sovereignty, UNIFIL did confirm the existence of the 5th Hezbollah tunnel violating UN resolution 1701 on Saturday, but only after the concrete pumped into a tunnel discovered in Israel began to exit homes in Lebanon, pouring into the street.

UNIFIL, the UN’s peacekeeping force stationed in the demilitarized zone between Israel and Lebanon, on Saturday confirmed the existence of another cross-border tunnel which the Israeli army on Friday filled with cement to block it.

UNIFIL Spokesman: Israel, Lebanon hold ‘near-daily’ meetings to defuse tension

The UN force in Lebanon has accused Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army of hampering their work, which includes spying on the peacekeepers, in a report due to appear on the website of French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, on Friday.

Hezbollah chief warns Israel to stop construction of border wall with Lebanon

Hassan Nasrallah has warned Israel  to cease work on upgraded border wall that the IDF deems imperative in it’s overall strategy for preventing future terrorists’ infiltration from Lebanon.

Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah has warned Israel against continued construction of a wall along its border with Lebanon, after Beirut said the project was undermining peace.

“After liberating the Lebanese occupied territories from the Zionist enemy in 2000, the UN demarcation of the national border with the Palestinian territories left 13 controversial positions, and the Lebanese government informed the UNIFIL about its rejection for any Israeli measure in this concern,” Nasrallah was quoted by Hezbollah website al-Manar as saying. Hezbollah’s TV reports of another Israeli spying device on the border

 

Hezbollah’s TV channel reports finding a spy device with photographic and transmission capabilities near the border, not far from a Lebanese airstrip & army post in the village of Markaba.

Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV station reported on Tuesday that a transmission and photographic spy device was discovered on the Israel-Lebanon border, which the station said belonged to Israel.
