Sacha Baron Cohen, known for pushing the limits of the First Amendment in a series of films & TV programs, takes to Twitter saying, Zuckerberg’s defense of free speech on Facebook is ‘akin to a restaurant owner welcoming neo-Nazis, then allowing them to shout anti-Semitic insults at other patrons.’

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave an impassioned defense Thursday of his company’s policy of allowing a wide spectrum of speech on the platform. Pamela Geller: ‘To Not Offend Savages, We’re Giving Up Our Freedoms’

Pamela Geller, the outspoken head of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, has spoken out after her group’s Mohammed Cartoon event was targeted in a shooting attack by Muslim terrorists on Sunday night.

In an interview with CNN, Geller lashed out at the media “elites” for criticizing her group – the attackers’ intended victims – as opposed to radical Islamists responsible for such violent attacks.

The event had offered a $10,000 award for the best cartoon depicting the founder of Islam, Mohammed, and featured a speech by Dutch MP Geert Wilders, among other prominent critics of Islam. Continue Reading »

The Palestinian Authority (PA) is cracking down on dissidents, Palestinian Media Watch reports Monday, after it arrested a man for “slandering” Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) leader and arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat as not being a “martyr.”

“The [PA] General Intelligence Service arrested today [April 25, 2015] Khalil Ali Afaneh, a clerk at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Abu Dis, after he attacked and slandered Yasser Arafat, the eternal Martyr leader and the symbol of the Palestinian people,” official WAFA news reported last week.
