Nasrallah made two public appearances to honor the Muslim Holy Day of Ashura, with an oddly-equipped security guard by his side. Nasrallah: No deal with Iran will cause regional war

Failure to strike a deal with Iran over its nuclear program would result in “war in the region,” Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah said on Wednesday, Lebanon’s NOW reported.

“To all Arab peoples in the Gulf countries of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE and Oman: What is the alternative to understanding between Iran and world leaders? It is regional war,” Nasrallah said in a rare public appearance to mark the Shiite Muslim Ashura holiday in southern Beirut.

Lebanese director Charbel Khalil told the Lebanese Daily Star on Sunday that he would not apologize.

“I will not apologize. We are continuing with our work, and this issue is behind us now,” he said.

Hezbollah chief blames Israel for the 17,000 missing Lebanese

Israel is responsible for “all Lebanese who have gone missing,” Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah declared in a speech in southern Beirut on Monday, according to the group’s Al-Manar TV website.

Israel’s Defense Minister Ya’alon says the Global Jihad tried to pull Israel into a conflict in Lebanon by firing missiles at Israel, hoping Hezbollah would receive Israel’s wrath.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Thursday that a “civil war” has erupted in Lebanon between Hezbollah and Global Jihad elements that have attempted to drag Israel into the conflict.

Jerusalem Arab Sentenced After Spying for Hezbollah

38 year-old Issam Hashem Mashahara of Jerusalem’s Jabel Mukabar neighborhood was found guilty of spying for Hezbollah & sentenced to 3.5 years in prison.

A 38 year-old Arab resident of Jerusalem’s Jabel Mukabar neighborhood has been sentenced to 42 months in jail for volunteering to spy for Hezbollah.

Issam Hashem Mashahara, who worked as a bus driver, reportedly traveled to the Lebanese capital Beirut of his own volition, and arranged to meet a group of Hezbollah operatives there.

An alleged avian Israeli agent has been captured in Lebanon, Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV station reported on Wednesday.

The eagle was captured by amateur hunters in the the town of Ashqout in the Keserwan district of the country, which is north east of Beirut.

The eagle was carrying an implanted receiver and a brass ring was found around its foot with markings in English that connected the suspect to Tel Aviv University, according to the report.

Saudi Report: Hezbollah received chemical weapons from Assad

 

The Saudi newspaper Al Watan quotes a Lebanese parliament member as saying that under Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ supervision and despite int’l agreement to surrender its chemical weapons, the Syrian regime has delivered to Hezbollah long-range missiles capable of carrying chemical warheads.

Israel Air Force scrambles jets due to unidentified aircraft

Just like last week, Israeli fighter jets thundered over Tel Aviv on their way to intercept a suspicious signal which again, turned out to be a flock of birds.

 

Israel Air Force fighter jets were scrambled on Saturday morning to north and south Israel, apparently because of an unidentified aircraft that entered Israeli airspace. IDF Spokesman declined to comment, saying it does not provide detail on IAF activity.
