IDF of High Alert: Israeli soldiers comes under fire from Lebanon

 

Lebanese army says their soldiers opened fire on IDF soldiers who crossed border from Rosh Hanikra; Lebanese also say one of their soldiers is missing, may be in Israel.

 

 

A round of fire struck Israel from Lebanese territory on Sunday, in an incident still being investigated by the Israel Defense Forces.

Reports from within Lebanon indicate that Lebanese soldiers opened fire at an Israeli force that crossed the border in Rosh Hanikra.

The IDF was concerned at first that the incident was a Lebanese attempt to distract the Israeli force to enable armed militants to cross the border, but an investigation has concluded that there was no infiltration. Continue Reading »

In another anti-Israel plot, Hezbollah arms dealer sentenced to life by Nigerian court

Weapons & explosives found at Lebanese man’s home were to be used in attacks on Israeli and American targets.

A Nigerian court handed a life sentence for illegal arms trafficking and possession on Friday to a Lebanese man suspected of having links with Hezbollah, but freed another two Lebanese suspects in the case.

Secret service agents arrested Mustapha Fawaz, Abdullah Tahini, Talal Ahmad Roda and Hussain Nurudeen Kossdi between May 16 and May 28.

They suspected them of being members of the Lebanon-based Shi’ite Muslim organization, after a raid on a residence linked to Roda in the main northern city of Kano uncovered anti-tank weapons, landmines, heavy artillery, rocket-propelled grenades and automatic rifles. Continue Reading »

The Lebanese branch of Abdullah Azzam Brigades, the Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group which claimed responsibility for Tuesday’s attack on Iran’s embassy in Beirut was initially established by Iran, according to a Middle East counter-terror expert.

An Al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group calling itself the Abdullah Azzam Brigades has claimed responsibility for the attack Tuesday on the Iranian embassy in Beirut. The attack killed 23 people, among them an Iranian attaché, and wounded an additional 146.

The attack was carried out by two suicide bombers.

Local reports vary on whether blast caused by car bombs or rockets.

 

 

At least 23 people were killed Tuesday morning when an explosion rocked south Beirut. According to some reports, the explosion targeted the Iranian embassy.

Lebanese director Charbel Khalil told the Lebanese Daily Star on Sunday that he would not apologize.

Civil war between the Global Jihad & Hezbollah has erupted in Lebanon

 

Israel’s Defense Minister Ya’alon says the Global Jihad tried to pull Israel into a conflict in Lebanon by firing missiles at Israel, hoping Hezbollah would receive Israel’s wrath.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Thursday that a “civil war” has erupted in Lebanon between Hezbollah and Global Jihad elements that have attempted to drag Israel into the conflict.

“To those who are not yet aware, there is already a civil war in Lebanon. Global Jihad, which has infiltrated Lebanon and is attacking Hezbollah, is blowing up car bombs in Dahia and is firing rockets at Dahia and the Beka’a Valley,” he said, referencing recent attacks on Hezbollah strongholds.
