Historic: Israeli President to Visit UAE at Crown Prince’s Invitation

For the first time in history, the president of the State of Israel will make an official presidential visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Jewish families rescued from Yemen granted asylum in Abu Dhabi

The United Arab Emirates, under the direction of the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, facilitated the rescue of the 11 members of a Jewish family in Yemen, whose lives were in imminent danger.

Russian Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar has revealed that the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (who is de facto ruler of the UAE) accepted his request for Emirati forces engaged in Yemen’s civil war to rescue two Jewish families trapped there (11 people in all).

Rabbi Lazar revealed the rescue in a public letter of thanks to the crown prince that read:
