Following 3 years of threats Palestinians end CIA information-sharing

Mahmoud Abbas’ government security arrangements with the CIA continued quietly despite the PA’s decision to disengage with the Trump White House following their move of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem in 2017.

Palestinian security services will no longer share information with their US counterparts in protest at Israeli plans to declare sovereignty over parts of the West Bank, chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat aid Thursday.

The announcement comes after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared on Tuesday an end to all agreements with Israel and the US.

Jason Greenblatt mocks the Palestinian Authority for propagandizing U.S. officials’ tour of Jerusalem’s Western Wall, as a ‘violation of international law,’ tweeting, “Peace can only be built on truth and reality. You cannot wipe away truth, or history. Time to get serious!”

U.S. Special Representative for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt slammed the Palestinian Authority on Tuesday, saying it has not come to terms with reality.

“PA officials criticize…@AmbJohnBolton and @USAmbIsrael visit to historic Jewish areas of Jerusalem. Will these officials ever realize that peace can only be built on truth and reality?” Greenblatt tweeted.

PA Leader Abbas Turned Away US Congressional Democratic Delegation

Still fuming over President Trump’s  Jerusalem recognition, the PA autocrat refused to meet with a U.S. delegation of 11 Democratic representatives, despite their lack of allegiance to, and continued criticism of, the US president.

Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas refused to meet with a delegation of Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives that visited Israel two months ago, in protest of the Trump administration’s policies toward Israel, Haaretz revealed.

According to the newspaper, Abbas’ refusal to meet the delegation caught its members by surprise, because many of them are constant critics of the Trump administration and were hoping to hear Abbas’ point of view about Trump’s policies while visiting the region. Continue Reading »

Former Palestinian Chief Negotiator Nabil Saath ruled out the cessation of payments to imprisoned terrorists, telling Palestinian National Television Sunday: “We will never stop caring for these men and their families. These men are heroes.”
