Arab Terrorist Shot Dead After Stabbing 2 IDF Soldiers in West Bank Attack

20 yr-old soldier left in serious condition with 2nd victim sustaining minor injuries after attacker shot dead at the scene.

Two Israeli soldiers were stabbed Wednesday morning in an attack at the Sinjil junction, near the settlement of Shilo in the northern West Bank. One was seriously hurt and the second sustained light wounds. The Palestinian attacker was killed at the scene by the soldier who sustained light wounds.

Israeli research proves ‘kangaroo care’ advances development in preemies

A Bar Ilan University study shows direct & constant physical contact with a premature newborn baby improves brain development well into its childhood.

A simple form of skin-to-skin contact between mothers and premature babies right after birth enhances the babies’ brain development until age 10, according to research conducted at Bar-Ilan University.

The touch-based treatment, called “kangaroo care,” was first developed in 1978 in Bogotá, Columbia, in the absence of costly incubators. The new study shows that kangaroo care has profound effects on the development of preemies in affluent societies as well.

Terror Attack: Israeli Policeman Stabbed in West Bank

Terrorist stabs policeman in back near community of Adam, causing moderate-to-serious wounds.

Security forces including the IDF are searching the area for the suspect. Injured police officer transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

An Israeli police officer was stabbed and moderately-to-seriously wounded near the Adam settlement, north of Jerusalem in the West Bank on Monday in what is believed to be a terror attack.
