Syria Threatens to Bomb Israel’s Ben-Gurion Airport

Syria’s ambassador to the UN on Tuesday told the world body that his nation (presumably with the help of its Iranian allies) would attack Ben Gurion International Airport if Israel didn’t stop bombing targets in the war-torn country.

“Syria will practice its legitimate right of self-defense and respond to the Israeli aggression on Damascus International Airport in the same way on Tel Aviv airport,” Syrian Ambassador Bashar Jaafari warned members of the UN Security Council, insisting that they “stop the Israeli repeated aggressions on the Syrian Arab republic territories.” Continue Reading »

Satellite images verify Iranian facility in Syrian airstrike destroyed by IDF

Report issued by satellite imaging company ISI says Syrian site, believed to be an Iranian weapons depot, was “completely destroyed” in the airstrike largely attributed to Israel.

An intelligence report issued by the satellite imaging company ImageSat International (ISI) on Thursday revealed the aftermath of the recent airstrikes in Syria, largely attributed to Israel.

According to reports, the target of the airstrikes was an Iranian weapons depot near Damascus. The satellite images unveiled Thursday showed extensive damage to the targeted site. A caption on the satellite imagery indicates that the site was “completely destroyed.”

Israel’s air defense system – likely the Arrow – was activated late Tuesday night against a Syrian anti-aircraft missile, following an alleged Israeli air strike over the capital of Damascus. Media reports claimed that Israel struck weapon warehouses near the Syrian capital.

Kuwaiti Report: All Syrian targets hit by IDF jets were Iranian military facilities

Arab media reports commander in Syria’s air defense force killed by Israeli drone

 

IDF silent as conflicting reports are emanating from the Arab media identifying the man killed near the Israeli border on the Syrian side of the Golan Heights as a “terrorist” while other reports describe Yasser al-Sayyed as a civilian.

REPORT: Israel’s new US-made F–35 fighter jets suspected in Syrian missile assault

The Syrian army accused the Jewish state of support rebel groups, and said that the “Israeli enemy” had fired several missiles from the skies over the Sea of Galilee, without violating Syrian airspace.

REPORT: European Diplomats urge Hezbollah to reconsider attacking Israel in revenge for Kuntar
