Canada’s New Hate Crime Laws Will Prosecute BDS Anti-Semitism

Canada, one of Israel’s staunchest allies, appears primed to use its new hate crime laws against groups advocating for the virulently anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

According to a Canadian Broadcasting Company report on Monday, Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s government made its intentions clear by sending a list of the country’s hate crime laws in response to CBC’s inquiry on its stance on BDS.

Over the past few months, several cabinet ministers have made statements pledging vigilance against the country’s many BDS groups, which are primarily associated with universities, labor unions and churches. Continue Reading »

Danish buses set ablaze after company removes anti-Israel settlements ad

Four buses in Copenhagen were found on fire in a suspected anti-Israel arson attack Friday morning, the Copenhagen Post reported.

The attack, in which several other buses were covered in anti-Israel graffiti calling to “Free Gaza” and “boycott Israel” comes a week after a pro-Palestinian group was made to remove several advertisements on buses calling for the boycott of Israeli products.

On Friday, the famed ex-Fugees superstar was set to perform in Lagos, Nigeria, but bowed out after travel delays forced her to cancel. Though the singer has since apologized by filming an acoustic version of her pop classic “Doo Wop (That Thing),” titled “A Message to Nigeria from Ms Lauryn Hill,” this isn’t her first cancellation misdemeanor. Copenhagen’s bus agency removes anti-Israel settlements ad

Danish propaganda campaign scrubbed for being ‘unnecessarily offensive’ by local authorities after public transport agency flooded with complaints from residents.

Copenhagen’s public transport agency on Thursday ordered the immediate removal of posters opposing Israeli settlements on the capital’s city buses after getting “a considerable amount of complaints.”

Movia, owned by eastern Denmark local authorities, said the campaign by the Danish Palestinian Friendship Association was “unnecessarily offensive.”

In yet another failure of the BDS movement calling to boycott Israel, the international pop superstar Robbie Williams landed in Israel on Thursday at 6 p.m. ahead of a concert in Tel Aviv on Saturday night.

21 Pretoria teens arrested after violent BDS protest in South Africa

After large BDS demonstration at Pretoria business selling Israeli-made goods, dozens of teens violently raid, loot & damage store while attacking employees.

Dozens of anti-Israel activists raided a South African store which sells products made in the Jewish State, massively damaging the premises. At the end of the riot, Pretoria police arrested 21 teens between the ages of 16 and 18.

The mob first protested outside the store in a demonstration organized by local groups seeking a boycott of Israel. Protesters carried signs saying “Israel is the devil” before some of them raided the store, throwing rocks, breaking equipment, and looting food products.

Economics Minister and Jewish Home Chairman Naftali Bennett reprimanded EU ambassadors to Israel Monday, during a series of closed meetings at Jerusalem’s King David Hotel.

“To isolate Israel and tie its hands economically, hoping we commit suicide, is immoral,” Bennett is heard saying on audio recordings published on Army Radio. “Instead of understanding that we are the dam to a river of terrorism…  Support us, help us – don’t tie our hands.”
