The IDF’s new ‘Lahav Or’ laser system located and intercepted 32 incendiary and explosive balloons which were launched from the Gaza Strip at Israel yesterday, including one interception which caused the balloon to explode in midair.

IDF jets strike Hamas compound following launching of explosive balloons on Israel

In retaliation to the continued release of explosive balloons from the Gaza terror enclave on Israeli civilian towns, IDF fighter aircraft once again strike at a Hamas military compound.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said on Tuesday evening that IDF fighter planes and aircraft attacked a number of terrorist targets in a military compound belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization in the northern Gaza Strip.

The attack was carried out in response to the explosive balloons that were sent from the Gaza Strip toward Israeli territory.

Bundle of balloons launched from Gaza before reportedly dropping an explosive charge near Kibbutz Nir Oz in Israel.

Following 80 rockets & mortars fired on Israel, IDF strikes 65 targets in Gaza

IAF fighter jets, attack helicopters, and aircraft struck 25 military targets belonging to the Hamas terror organization in Gaza overnight Tuesday, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

The target strikes included sheds of drones used for terror purposes, a rocket manufacturing workshop, advanced naval weaponry, military compounds, training facilities, and a munitions manufacturing site.

“This is an additional strike against military targets belonging to the Hamas terror organization, which is accountable for activity from the Gaza Strip, and therefore is responsible for the severe attacks that were carried out against Israeli civilians,” said the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit in a statement. Hamas (AND the world) remains silent as tanks, helicopters and Egyptian soldiers force Gazans out of their homes before being blown up for Cairo imposed buffer zone, with no international criticism, condemnation, or protests.

Arab residents of Gaza were rounded up by armed soldiers and forced to flee their homes, which were promptly exploded in impressive plumes of dust and sand – but the soldiers were Egyptian, and there has been no international criticism of the buffer zone Egypt is establishing by force on the Gaza side of the Sinai border.

“A mortar shell fired from Gaza exploded in an open area near the southern part of the Strip,” an IDF spokeswoman told AFP.

IAF Jets Bomb Terror Tunnel in Northern Gaza

After numerous rocket attacks on southern Israel, IAF aircraft hit & destroy terror tunnel in northern Gaza

IAF aircraft hit a terror tunnel in northern Gaza on Tuesday night, the IDF spokesman said in a statement.

According to the statement, a direct hit was identified and all Israeli aircraft returned safely to their bases.

The attack came in response to high trajectory fire into Israeli territory, said the statement. Earlier Tuesday night, terrorists fired three Kassam rockets at southern Israel. One rocket hit the city of Netivot, while the two others fell in open areas of the Negev. Continue Reading »
